Absolutely Games are creating its debut title Classified: France '44, a historical turn-based strategy experience coming to PC & next-gen consoles. Published by Team17
Bought this recently. Love it! (I’m about halfway through) The turn based aspect is perfect. The richness of the characters is greatly appreciated. I wish there could be some disguised missions but maybe for another game? Do you know the game Phantom Doctrine? It has major flaws but it’s a great cold war conspiracy espionnage game. Unfortunately I think future developments were canceled. Just a suggestion.
That might be very difficult, as it would require its own localization treatment and compliance testing. Hopefully we could curate some of the best from the community and bundle them up as a free update at some point.
Nice. I'm glad to see the bodies not flashing out of existence and the option for them to persist. The mission editor save/load issue is welcome too. The workaround I figured out was laborious.
The Mission Editor fixes are really nice, we've not been able to give it that much love since launch mainly because of these, but once it's out we can spin up the hype wheel
@@Morgoth052 we haven't had a good WW2 real time game since CoD 2. It's about time we get one. On the other hand, there's too many turn-based games period.
Looks promising, guys! I loved the combat in X-Com 2, and while this is a complete different setting, it has similarities that I like. Never been crazy about WW1 or WW2 games, but I really like the turn-based strategy combat. I'll buy this.
Thank you for watching! We're big fans of games like XCOM and we're looking forward to seeing how people embrace the changes we're bringing to the genre, particularly how our Overwatch works.
I'm going to be real with you lot here, even if this were going to be purely XCOM set in the fortnight before D-Day this would already probably become my favourite game next year. But all of the extra elements mentioned here are making me even more exited. Keep this up, and this will be the most fun one can have with their pants on!
Can't wait for this game to release, haha just finished JA3 and this looks so coooL. I have watched a few review and early game play videos - very impressive!
This is checking all the boxes! And it's a little feature, but being able to hold your opportunity fire for better options is a great little tweak. Good luck with the continued development!
