I've ridden 50,000 km solo around Canada and still counting... My name is Kristopher Ryan, I'm Canadian and passionate about riding motorcycles, traveling and adventuring. In May 2023 I purchased my 2023 BMW R1250 GS Adventure and named her "Sherpa". In June 2023, I set off on a cross Canada, Island to island, coast to coast adventure. Subscribe to stay tunned, as there will be some big announcements soon.
**UPDATE** a side trip has now been added.. starting on July 19th, I will be flying out of Toronto to Iceland to ride around that country for three weeks! Its going to be EPIC !

@@HealingAmazing Hmmm, haven't been there... Yet. This was @ Dawson City, Yukon. Altho I do appreciate you making me aware of Mastodon Ridge Amy. Also, I would be forever grateful for your subscribe to my channel
@HealingAmazing I'll have to check that one out next time I'm put that way. Last summer, I did the cabbot trail when I was in Nova Scotia... pretty sure I rode right through Truro
@@PotatoSauceMan Appreciate your feedback and kind thoughts! Made it to Tuk and back ... Off to Patagonia in February ... Also, I would be forever grateful for your subscribe to my channel 🙏
@@kristopherryanrides198 nice! I was considering then because a lot of the trails around me have alot of sand but I also do a lot of highway km how many miles/ km did you get out of them?
Lovely little spot Tadoussac. I will be settingboff for Tuktoyaktuk, NWT. on the 25 th . . . Appreciate your comment and forever grateful for your subscribe to my channel
Hey nice vid...is this fully stock exhaust? Or is it modified in any way? I noticed in one comment you said stock but the other said it had the muffler removed?
Thanks for reaching out, I appreciate the feedback. The exhaust system was modified by eliminating the pre-muffler and installing a link pipe. If you haven't already, I would be forever greatful and appreciate your subscribe to my channel 🙏
Hey buddy, can you please tell me how many HP is that bike as some web page shows 92Nm and 95HP and some 86NM and 90HP so I'm very confused with that info.
Thanks for reaching out... The Rated Output Is 90 HP @ 8000 rpm 86NM (63 lb-ft) is the max torque output @ 6500rpm I have posted a link that includes all the technical data from BMW below: www.bmwmotorcycles.com/en/models/adventure/f850gs/technicaldata.html#/section-technical-data Also, if you haven't already, I would appreciate and be forever grateful for your subscribe to my channel.
Hi Kristopher, thanks for sharing these awesome videos, I quite enjoy them, I think i bumped into you today at the Moka house today, nice bike, hope we cross paths again in the future.
I confirmed with my dealership and with BMW that it, does not void the warranty. Just use OEM parts and oil. I purchase mine from my dealership so they have a digital record of the transaction.
No worries,@@IoanAlexandruAndrei I appreciate the feedback and would be grateful for your subscribe. With regards to updating the sevice interval code, I actually have a code reader and I reset the service interval code myself The link to the code reader and app can be found in the discription of my video. In my opnion, it's a worthwhile investment as it basically pays for itself after one oil change
I probably wouldn't have posted this if I'd done that. Passed on a solid line while car was slowing to make a left with it's signal on? Gotta do better if you don't want to become a statistic.
Do you know what the stop sign means? In Denmark you would have lost your lisence by now… just saying… 😊 Anyway - the bike sounds awesome - can’t wait to get mine ;-)
I think this is a beautiful area, despite what others may think. I realize beauty is somewhat subjective, but those mountains, rivers and greenery were beautiful. I rode through BC on my way to Anchorage last August. Iceland Parkway and Jasper were very scenic. And yes, lots of smoke from the fires. I looked through your videos for a summary of your trip; miles traveled, camping vs hotels, camping gear, etc. looks like you camped? You also look like you were having a great time on that bike. Thanks, Clint
Thanks Clint, I appreciate you and your feedback. I camped the whole way... Only took 4 hotels during the 10.5 weeks I was away... In total, I traveled 25,000 kms from June 3rd to August13th. 5200 of which was done around Iceland. I was there for 18 days, end of July and into August On another note, your Nav Mod Kit is now en route ! Stay tunned for mor videos, I'm still editing content from my trip.. its alot of work going thru 2TB of go pro footage
Thank you for your feed back... Canada does have a lot of beauty to offer altho I do agree most hiway riding is boring. Later during this adventure I made my way to epic Iceland 🇮🇸.. There was some epic riding there... I do plan to do more riding around Europe. Any where impaticular you'd suggest?
Thanks for reaching out Mario. I use the MOTOSCAN app. Although you will need to purchase the Ultimate version of the app in order to clear/reset your service reminder. Also, if you haven't already I would be forever grateful and appreciate your subscribe to my channel 🙏 Keep adventuring !
@@kristopherryanrides198 thanks Kristopher for your reply. Apologize for not spelling your name correctly in my first message lol 😆. Good luck with your channel in the future. Ride safe
