My channel is designed to bring back those hits and pioneering artist of the golden era of gospel, and to keep the memories of the great ones alive for generations to come. Just take those old records off the shelf, I'll sit and listen to 'em by m'self, Today's music ain't got the same soul. I like that old time gospel music. That kinda music just soothes the soul, I reminisce about the days of old. With that old time gospel music. Call me a relic call me what'cha will. Say I'm old fashioned say I'm over the hill. Today's music ain't got the same soul. I like that old time gospel music. They knew what they were singing about. Now days, it's hard to figure out what anybody is saying. I grew up in the old days when music was real, the singers were real, and God was the reason they sang.

I use to play the Hammond B3 organ for the Pentecostal church... I learned to do riffs by listening to Stevie Wonder's harmonica on this record... The people thought I could really play that organ... Good times!😅
This song means so much to me, I heard it when I was young, I plan to use these lyrics in one of my next books to show that no matter what if you trust Jesus there is no limit to what you can do with His presence. Johnnie White jw3926207@gmail.com

My mother, Maryalice Nunnally Hester, is the first on the bottom right, I'm so proud of her. I remember going to rehearsals with her every Thursday nights at the church when I was a lil girl and a teenager. I miss her and all of them so much.
