I can tell you took those Bible stories at face value without grasping an understanding on what message they were trying to convey. God is merciful and just, He sent His only begotten Son, so that He may accept the punishment we were supposed to for our sins. Jesus died on the cross for us to show the love of the Holy Trinity. And THIS is how you repay Him?!? Shameful, absolutely shameful. As a Christian we are told not to judge because that’s God’s job. But you are currently on a dark path that leads to eternal damnation and suffering. But the news isn’t all bad, Jesus offers you a way out. He will forgive your sins if you repent and turn to Christ. Father, I pray that those who listen and enjoy this song and those like it will be washed with the Holy Spirit and be cleansed of their sin and evil ways.
