this is my problem and there are no solutions to it. It's a passive, compulsive, involuntary reaction of my hands and fingers. No matter how much I set myself calm, I always end up strafing too much than necessary and then spraying. While my enemy just 1-tap me in the head. No matter how many tutorials I watch saying these kinds of advice, and how much time I go on practice, it's totally useless. I'm level 101 and still don't like playing compe because of that. I tried practicing for months with just a little improvement. Feels like I'm wasting my time since I have a lot of work to do for my regular job. If only I have a lot of money and no job, I can spend my 24 hours 7 days a week practicing whatever tutorials and advice you guys give. Or maybe I'll just have to ask Elon Musk to implant me a neural link to help me completely calm down and remove my compulsive reaction.
