Yeah there isn't a driver on the woke Nascar tracks could ever be the man he was!!! He had balls not tampons!!!! It all changed when he died!!! No leaders stepped up so Nascar fell apart and we have what we have today bullshit!!!

When you think that Jerry Punch had to set his collar bone back in place before he drive out the pits - everyone telling him not to drive. Goes out and sets the record with one arm. Jesus Christ.

There has been some truly great drivers throughout the history of the automobile, but this guy was one of a kind, he may not have been the best dad, but he did the best he could, he may not have been the best husband at times but he tried, but when he got behind the wheel of that Chevrolet it was pure magic, it is a very rare driver that can get a little more out of a car than it's got, back in those days every race was sold out many years in advance because of this guy, people came to see him lose and they came to see him drive and they came to see him win. NASCAR will never recover from that day back in 01, NASCAR lost their true leader now they're just lost, this pathetic point system, where they can now choose the champion, the cars are a joke, only thing production now is the Chevy engine.

There are men and then there are MEN! Some may say they are crazy, reckless, even stupid but so be it. Remember playing pro football in leather helmets with no face masks? Playing both offense and defense in the same game? Many after the season was over had regular jobs because the game did not pay enough to live on. Ricky Rudd one time taped his eyes open after a crash so he could see. Richard Petty apparently raced with cracked back bones for years never really knew about it. I can be tough but I usually miss this level.

Ryan "fake southern accent" McGee. If you see this comment check out any Ryan McGee of 2020 and you will see a fake as guy. Using a real tried to hard sputhern slang filled accent. ESPN sucks , ESPN's Nascar coverage Sucks and when ESPN covered a bad crash this Daytona 500 this fake ass guy is the tool who used a fake voice to talk about the hurt driver. No other real mention to the actual race .
