This is jusy an amazing work u have done , I love the way u show ur entire process. It really helps me to understand the layering process done in pastel art and how we can recreate an actual pic to pastel drawing. Thank you!!!! ❤
Hey there! I'm doing a survey on painters who use pastels as a medium, and I was wondering if you ever get tired hands/grip fatigue from using pastels for an extended period of time?
I enjoyed your video. I’m guessing pastels is a new medium for you and you are entering it from another medium such as watercolour. Your ability to create the painting was wonderful in the end however your technique could be made easier through applying the darks first. You worked hard to overcome the mud created by layering the lights over the dark green used so heavily throughout the painting. May I recommend the addition of some deep violet and blue to your cool darks along with an umber. Your colour sense is very good and the development of the rocks was very enjoyable. You may enjoy trying more sanded papers like colourfix or Pastelmat with your Unison pastels. Happy painting 😊
Very interesting technique. Very much like I would do a watercolor painting. I have just recently started painting with pastels and was having difficulty with rock faces. I really liked use of the paint brush and the pastel pencil to achieve the desired effect. Don't know why I didn't think of it. Thank you.
hello..thanks for the video ..beautiful drawing of this nice landscape i m a begginner in pastel painting so i hope you share more videos.. salutations from Algeria
Absolutely beautiful. As a student though I would like to have known the sequence of pastel colors you used on the rocks by name. It's amazing how accomplished this painting is from a starting point that seems so far off from the finish line! Fabulous technique.
