got a 17-inch laptop recently (on a great deal) and finding a bag for it was difficult. if I had extra money for myself I would 100% get this. free bag, mouse, and headset with top specs definitely worth it
tks for the review, can you pls test if it can be used with its 4k screen as a good 3d modeling / CAD Design workstation alternative, (That can Game when it wants) comparisons with other 18"s from other brands. Any content like that would be excellent!
@@sahiljadhav9414 All smart watches released by Samsung this year have more accurate sensors so if you want more accurate heath and sleep monitoring then you should upgrade. Thx for watching!
Super great comparison:) I have the GO3 and thinking now to sell it for the Action 5 Pro. I have also the Osmo Pocket 3 and to match the Color grading with the GO3 was not easy. So I think the DLOG-M with the Action 5 fits better to my workflow. So yoúre right. When you want to do Color grading, definitely get the Action 5. And with the latest firmware I read, they’re increased the Bitrate :)
Thank you! Yes, the increased bit rate option has been added in the latest firmware and improves the video quality. Also along with Rec 709 conversion lut, vivid conversion lut is now available for D log-M 10-bit recordings. I am sure you will like the new action 5. All the best!
I bought honor magic pad 2 Netflix and prime video display resolution is awkward..upon checking with other people it only plays in 720p resolution due to a missing functionality Can you please confirm on this ?
Did you compare the quality in streaming apps like Netflix and in movies with full resolution with hdr copied to devices without compression? I've found that hdr works properly on Samsung tablets only in RU-vid. Everywhere else the picture is too dark. This was the reason I sold Tab S7 Plus years ago and according to reddit topics it's still the case with Tab S9.
@@heniekzpoczty5294 Hi, Netflix series Our Planet is being played on all the tablets in this video. In my opinion Samsung performs quite well on all video platforms. Maybe the older S7 had some issues but I didn’t find any issues regarding different video quality on different platforms.
@@heniekzpoczty5294 The new M4 iPad Pros, featuring a tandem OLED display, offer significantly improved brightness and enhanced detail in video playback. However, a notable drawback when watching 16:9 content on the iPad is its aspect ratio, which results in substantial black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. In contrast, Samsung tablets, with their aspect ratio better optimized for 16:9 videos, display minimal black bars, providing a more seamless viewing experience. If your priority is brighter visuals with greater clarity, the iPad is an excellent choice. However, for a more immersive experience with minimum black bars, Samsung tablets are the better option.
Hey, I just bought MagicPad 2 and noticed that the viewing angle is not as good as my Galaxy Note 8 (the loss of brightness when viewed of angle is huge). Is it normal for a tablet or just MagicPad 2? I'm considering returning it and buying a Tab S9 plus instead. Hoping that the viewing angle is similar to my Galaxy Note 8
@@equilibrium-techHi, Upon comparison, I didn’t observe any significant differences in viewing angles between the Samsung and Honor tablets, both of which feature OLED panels. However, Samsung’s display appears to have more vibrant colors, which might contribute to the perception of sharper visuals at various angles. Given that both devices utilize OLED technology, viewing angles should not be a concern, as OLED panels typically offer excellent performance in this regard.
@@EhtashamAnwar So there is a differences ya? For me I think it's significant because I'd like to use my tab on low brightness i.e. 10-25% average.. (I'm sensitive to light). When viewed from of angle, low brightness on MagicPad 2 = feels like blank screen (almost can't see anything). With the same level of brightness with my Galaxy Note 8, I can see anything clearly (just very slightly loss of brightness)
@@equilibrium-tech go for the one you prefer and looks more pleasant to you. That’s why I conducted side by side comparison so everyone can judge by themselves. All the best mate!
The hono measures much better in the brightness department compared to the samsung so i am really surprised you said the samsung is brighter - i have looked at both in store and the honor is visibly brighter under the bright store lights while the samsung genuinly looks like it is struggling and to my eyes not bright enough
@@rokiedecentra9656 The brightness performance of a tablet can vary depending on the content being displayed. While one tablet might have a higher peak brightness on paper, it’s important to consider whether that brightness is sustained or only applies to specific bright areas, such as when watching HDR content. In reality, there isn’t a significant difference in brightness between these tablets. One may look better than the other depending on the scene, which is why I conducted side-by-side comparisons for viewers to see and judge for themselves. In my experience, iPad displays stand out for both brightness and clarity. Samsung and Honor are very close in performance, but I preferred the Honor for darker scenes due to its clarity in shadowed areas, while Samsung’s colors were more vibrant overall
@@EhtashamAnwarthe SDR brightness primarily the s9+ measures like 400 nits with an apl18 standard pattern while the honor gets like 650, the honor was brighter - HDR peak yeah it might be similar
For those complaining u see no different, it's because we're on RU-vid, not face to face. Check your resolution, some people complain there's no different while watching at 360p...
Op, so which one is better display-wise? which has brighter HDR? and Brighter SDR? if they valued equally which one would you buy? I just noticed that tab s9 is 16:10 display so its GREAT for PC game streaming 1:1, better than all ipads and even better than Magicpad2 with 14:9 aspect ratio Thanks.
Op, do you have older ipad pros, the 12.9 with minled? to compare I have ipad pro m1 12.9 and considering the magicpad2 as upgrade, mainly i need it for moonlight streaming, to stream PC games and use the tablets sort of handheld with HDR. So the only-thing i care about is OLED HDR performance and of course HEVC + AV1 decode [ipad pro m1 doesn't have AV1 decode, only HEVC]
Hi, sorry I do not have the older iPad. The panel on the older iPad is very similar to the m3 MacBook Pro's display panel. The problem with mini LED is the blooming around the brighter areas especially in HDR mode. Oled panels do not have this issue but peak brightness on mini-led panels is normally quite high compared to OLED. Why not go for the new oled iPad Pro, super bright and very deep blacks. also have excellent HDR performance as well.
@@EhtashamAnwar New ipads pro too expensive, especially where im from + 17% vat and especially for my use case [using it as gaming handheld for streaming] magicpad2 12gb goes down to 450USD on aliexpress during their sales [which they do couple times a month] and using their coupons Plus ill probably be forced to pay 100-150USD tax and its ok price, so 550-600USD total Basic ipad pro 11inch will cost me 1200usd taxes included or 1070$ for customer return Second issue is that ipads sold as media devices but come with most idiotic unusable aspect ratios, say TV series that has black bars on 16:9 TV, is about 1/4th of the ipad pro screen, so much space lost 16:9 games also dont take the whole space there is a web site that you can input screen resolution and size and compare basically MagicPad 2 pro = iPad pro 13inch when displaying 16:9 content, they equal [magicpad is 1% larger but its nothing] ipad pro wins in 4:3 content by almost 40%, but what kind of 4:3 content is there? Reading text and browsing the internet, sure

I like the way you compare products. straight to the important point. some of your videos really helped me to choose the right product. I hope your channel continues to grow
At least what I see in the vídeo, the image quality in the S9+ is much better. Much more contrast, brighter colours. More detail and light in the honey image and in the red flower. Both of them same black and dark parts but lighter and more detail in the bright parts in the S9+.
Wifi 7 isn’t working. Performance is poor. I have fiber internet 5GBps. My 24Ultra gets 3300 wireless and the 16 Pro Max get only 1500, just like my 15 Pro Max which is 6E, so the 16 is really only 6E not 7. Terrible speeds for Apple pretending to have Wifi 7. I have Orbi Wifi 7 and sit close to the router too. Apple mess this one up.
@@iskyfly7 I haven’t experienced this, I am using both 24 ultra and 16 pro max, both are performing well when comes to the wifi speeds. Why not contact apple support, there might be a hardware issue. Thanks for watching!
Ihave Iphone 13 product red 256 GB 2 years old still runs like charm no issues may be its few secs slower than 16 series while running games and performing regular activities. I feel the design should get major overhaul then it would be worth buying this year iphones are asusually boring. Will wait for Iphone 17 series & why apple is not launching Product Red iphones since from 15 series? Product Red iphones look killer.
I still have my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and you’re correct-there isn’t much difference in everyday use. However, when it comes to gaming and video/photo editing, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is noticeably faster. Additionally, the heat management on the 16 Pro Max is significantly better, especially during extended gaming sessions. You’re right that the iPhone 17 series will likely bring major improvements next year, but primarily to the Pro models, given that the standard iPhone 16 series already received significant upgrades. I expect the regular iPhone 17 models to focus on features like ProMotion, while the Pro models could see more AI-driven enhancements, a tandem OLED display, and potentially a new main camera sensor.
@@kty8787 If you don’t care about camera improvements, especially 120fps 4k recording then go for 15pro max, especially if it’s 10-15% cheaper than 16 pro max. Not a huge difference between two phones and the older one is still a top notch phone. All the best and thanks for watching!
