I didn't even know MAC was gone, that's sad. It's been a LONG time since I've had a foxbody, and I've had a few, but my favorite setup was longtubes with a MAC Pro Chamber and Pro Dumps with a mild ish cam.
That was so cool.I used to have a 1988 Red mustang Gt with a automatic that I drag raced.That was my favorite car.I still miss it.👍It was the most reliable car I ever owned.

Anyone who actually knows anything knows you dont need anywhere near 800 hp especially in a light raw fox them things will straight move with far less power than 800. I've seen them run 10s with 400 something rwhp. You don't need that kind of power to be fast and you certainly don't need that kind of power to have a fun street car. Chasing numbers trying to keep up with the jones on the internet is the biggest mistake people make today imo.
totally badass bro grew up my whole life with my dads 83 5.0 gt, has a built 408w stroker around 600-650hp na and a 100 shot on it for fun... has a c4 with a 4500 stall and 4.10 gears, best the car ran in the 1/4 was 9.64 @ 138mph

Nice cars for sure. Mac setup sounds better to me. What Flowmaster is on the other car?? My 90 gt has bbk shortys, bassani off road x and super 44 flows. It sounds like most of the sound is under the car. It has tail pipes too. I like the volume of sally with the flos. Its louder than my 44 flos. Great video man
I’m not sure what the part number is but they are called Mac Pro dumps. Unfortunately this manufacture doesn’t make them anymore. You’d have to somehow get lucky and somehow run into someone that has them

Mac sounds good with a car with a good camshaft. Your dads car had Macs on it. Very good video of sounds too Dez. I do like both. Mods help out alot to the sound. I have Mangnaflows on mines now.

Don't let anyone tell u to buy small heads, spend it once,buy small will disappoint u, then ur porting them, and that's not cheap done right, I've got the biggest heads from afr the 220's renagades on my fox, I have a channel I started just to give a little info were I can!!!
You can’t find them lol. Usually you find some from people who are no longer using them but you will have to shed a few hundred dollars to get them. But they are definitely out there. Just have to know who has them. I got lucky. These came from a cousin of mine
@CarswithDez That is awesome. I remember when Mac was the "go to". I used to love picking up the MM&FF magazine and Mac products were plastered throughout the articles. So sad to see them gone.
Awesome video , been banging gears in these Mustangs since 85 ! I gave my son my 88 GT to pump him up & kept my 5.0 Lx for myself so we could hang out & have some fun , he Rather drive a Honda instead 🤔 Its still sitting here ! Think I'm just gone sell it !
