I used to do this by hand as a kid by myself and yeah, I got about 75 boards done an hour system like this we put together and it more than doubled production and wasted nearly no stain

Set up a other set of rollers about half the board length away then you dont have to hand them back 1 pass more rollers

If you use cedar no need to stain. Naturally rot resistant.

I can only imagine the imperfections in the finish. Hands all over the wet stain. Then they lean them on something. Seems like a hack job that some fly by night outfit would use.

Stop screwing around. Unscrew the boards and flip them over. New deck. No sanding is required.

I do like the concept but reality for most of us is the wood comes pretty wet and we recommend the customers wait a year before stain

Idk know how you would dry them prior, unless came dried?

I have the same lock, replaced the core with the 410 LOTO core to prevent raking

Use a drum sander. That’s a final finish sander. Even with 40 grit pads you’ll be going at it for days lol

That type of seal is good but I did it cheap with a peal and stick garage door perimeter weather seal from Amazon for about $30. It also comes with covered screws. It has the same soft flange seal as the type shown. Super easy install.

The old varnish clogs up those sanding blocks almost instantly I made the same mistake. Had to keep scraping the pad off with a 5 way.
