Hi, do you know if the ikea unit can be installed on the back panel? instead of on the bottom. Husband would like to automate all drawers, not just bottom ones.
Yes it could be done if your drawer are shorter enough to make the hardware fit in the back of the drawer. Also in order to have everything in order the back panel should be made from 3/4" and not 1/4".
Despite having the video on full volume as well as the volume on my lap-top it was difficult to hear the commentary accompanying this visual presentation. Even with what I could hear the volume still varied significantly which suggested to me that the narrator was not speaking into the microphone. The visuals were good.
Hello, thanks for the vid!! I picked up the Ikea one and was wondering what the difference was when I saw it was Blum. Ikea’s actually too short of a cord for me, would the blum 26’/8M servo drive extension/electrical cords and inserto connector still work with the Ikea wires?
Thank you for the help. I will be using this method for the filler! I’m doing a total remodel of my kitchen and doing all the work myself from demo down to studs, building the cabinets, installing the cabinets, and installing the quartzite countertops, backsplash, and toe kick, as well as installing a farmhouse sink including an air switch for the garbage disposal. I also made two floating shelves fabricated from slab claro black walnut which is a highly sought after rare wood specifically found in the Central Valley of California up to Washington l, with amazing beauty. Great video!
Greetings from the UK, interesting video. Confirmat construction is uncommon in the UK; but the best way of constructing cabinets made from particle board (we call it chipboard) in the UK. Look forward to more video’s from you.😀
Remove the Drawer Front: Open the drawer fully and look for screws or mounting brackets that secure the drawer front to the drawer box. Unscrew or remove these brackets to detach the drawer front from the drawer box. Identify the Broken Adjuster: Once the drawer front is removed, inspect the adjuster to identify the broken or damaged parts. Some drawer front adjusters may be a separate component that can be easily removed and replaced, while others might be integrated into the drawer hardware. Purchase a Replacement: Visit a hardware store or contact the manufacturer to purchase a suitable replacement drawer front adjuster that matches the style and specifications of your drawer hardware. Install the New Adjuster: Follow the instructions provided with the replacement adjuster to install it correctly. This may involve screwing or attaching the new adjuster to the appropriate location on the drawer box or drawer front. Reattach the Drawer Front: Once the new adjuster is in place, reattach the drawer front to the drawer box using the mounting brackets or screws. Test and Adjust: Test the drawer to ensure it opens and closes smoothly. If needed, make any further adjustments to the drawer front position using the new adjuster to ensure it aligns perfectly with other cabinet doors or drawer fronts.
Tipicall size of the scre hole is 5 mm (3/16"). That is the standard Euro drilling system. For more questions please send us an email to info@cabinetsquick.com
This is great! I would love to see a more complete in depth tutorial. I’m looking to redo my cabinets and make a double bookcase in either teak or rosewood. Either is only affordable if I use veneer and do it myself. 😊
Hi! Very nice design and video! I have a little question about the connector clip, I just can't close it with the led strip in it, no matter hard hard I push it... (same things with the two cables i have) is there a special way to do it ? Thx!
