It’s unfortunate that folks have to work with no protective clothing on 100-year-old belt driven machine to survive. I hope they can get some sort of newer machinery, electric or solar or something soon.
I'll never forget overhearing a neighbor describe what happened to a co-worker who got caught in a flat belt in a textile mill. I was only six years old at the time back in the 1950's. I guess I don't look at belts the way other people do to this very day.
It makes no sense that anyone working around stuff like that be wearing loose fitting pieces of cloth all over their bodies. People around the world die every day from that kind of behavior.
