And it hurts when the ones u thought so highly of ignore u. So I put myself in that lil bitty box, thinknn I'll b ok cause I'll b safe but truely jm dying inside and i dont know how much more I got. But I can't give up. Cause that solves nothing.
Hello, what model and year is that Freightliner, because my Cummin does the same thing to me. I have seen several models of Oil Cooler and I don't know which one it has.
@1RedlineExpress I'm about to use this for my first time also but I think your supposed to pump for like 2 minutes and you don't take it off and wait for results (not a pregnancy test)... it will change colors while your pumping
There is one thing that you should have did different. The metal ring you put on plastic line should have been plastic. Over time the metal ring will cut through the plastic line.
@@christurner7043 I had a truck 20 years old that metal ring never cut the plastic line . You can’t use platic ring with copper feeding, that ring is part of the fitting.
@@1RedlineExpress EVERYTHING you did was Wrong. You have no clue. wrong oil, incorrectly draining it, making a mess, seriously stupid misleading videos need to be banned
Thank you so much! Just completed this fix and thanks to you I had a great idea of what I was going to do and what parts to order. It went easily enough, now I'm on the flushing phase.
Try to turn engine with your hand , the crank pulley located on the right side . You will need to remove the wheel use a socket with the ratchet and try to turn , if it won’t turn your engine is seized . This engines are common to get seized.
Just a tip, on the filter housing, loosen and remove the bottom with a 3/8 rachet I think. The oil will then drain from there. Also there's a small o ring gasket which comes with the new filter material which should be used on the bottom end of the filter.
In other videos they removed the internal metal plug using a 3/8 socket, then inserted before removing the filter housing with the large filter housing wrench attachment. a plastic plug to allow the filter o oil to drain
You're not supposed to attach the negative to the negative post on the battery. If the battery is super dead it can be leaking gas and cause an explosion. Rare but people have lost their sight from battery acid explosions
@@1RedlineExpressI’m in Arizona . I need a mechanic . I’m about to try to replace my alternator . autozone says that’s the problem but car won’t start up now the diagnostic it a few weeks ago but really didn’t want to drop almost 400 in it unless i have too. Your video definitely very descriptive. I’ll be using as a guide . Very simple to understand & follow
Thanks for the great video. Where do you get the ratcheted clamp for the filter? Mine is tucked up in the motor and little space to get to it, I need a way to be able to take it off?

@@jimmywarden6320 I think it has to do something with your parking brake , but I’m not 100% . I need to connect my diagnostics tool to tell you more accurate answer.
@@jimmywarden6320 if it’s just a sensor glitching or going bad. Yes, you can drive like that. Have you check your brake fluid level? But to be safe, I would recommend to check my professional..
