The fact that anyone bitches about this basically flawless playthrough is hilarious to me. It's like if you went to see Starry Night by Van Gogh, noticed that there is a frame on the painting (Cause you know it kinda has to be) and be like "Actual fucking garbage I can't believe I came to see this"
I do something a little different for the conservatory mission. I also don’t tend to use bunny hopping and I don’t like doing things that get an alerted status (like throwing things or turning off security systems) so the timing works out a bit differently than yours. You can do a curving jump from the first guard booth to get over the locked gate, then instead of going through the blood fly apartment you can sneak past the guard and woman on the roof to get to the apartment across the way, then jump over to the watchtower from there. It’s a tricky jump, but you can jump from the watchtower to the conservatory entrance gate and then onto the ledge. The rest plays out pretty much the same though, other than going through the wall of light.
Yeah, that jump in lower aventa is such a pain in the ass. Also you can just jump from the bulletin board onto the pillar to then hop in the window on the second floor and go up the stairs to get the gate code, it works well for me and drastically reduces the odds of getting detected.
Its so jarring when you use a power, or knock someone out thats not the target or something agains the rules in this, but i always assume that its just because its absolutely necessary.
There is not enough time in her patrol pattern to unravel the painting with the lantern before she detects you, so unfortunately you're forced to either knock her out or perform a save reload that will like glitch her patrol route.
This is what makes this game so good. I platinumed this on PS3 and PS4 and used different routes each time and you've got all new routes here. The freedom the game gives you is up there with Hitman
"Good god father...how long did it ta-" *"Actually it was pretty easy. And for how long it took me...about a week? Maybe two? Certainly easier than the LAST coup i was a part of."*
Sorry if this has already been asked, but are your ratings of each individual level based on like a “speed”/challenge run perspective or a casual perspective? Or both? 🤔
I could have phrased the things a little better. Essentially, the difficulty and enjoyment are for this challenge. The overall enjoyment is for the casual perspective, as you put it. Essentially my first time with the level playing the game as it was intended, as well as visiting it on consecutive playthroughs. The rating is then based on that overall enjoyment.
There is the Ghost of Dunwall There was the knife of Dunwall Now, there is the goof of Dunwall. (Seriously tho all throughout this I just imagined Mickey Mouse rip toeing everywhere.)
Congrats! You made me want to platinum Dishonored again after I do 2 and have already done death of the outsider, I hope 2 will be as easy as DOTO in terms of them actually being made well for the PS4 rather than clunky PS3 port TO the PS4 but regardless, thank you and thank goodness for your other videos regarding the dlc content, hopefully I learn well from those
This was insane to follow along with, but so much fun! Couldn't get it all done, but the fact I got that knockout at the table right in front of that dude and took him out a window was absolutely awesome
"I know you're a man of honor..." *Shakes head* "...and that you can kill me at any time," *Nods head* I was watching this video on 2x speed which makes all of the leaning side to side and nodding even funnier
Has anyone actually been able to do the balcony jump at 22:24 on console. I have been at it for at leats an hour and can not do it. Edit: Dont bother replying i gave up on that shit
Lol, yeah his remastered series is the main reference for most of the routing and strategies used here. From there I sprinkled some of my own magic on it and tried to improve on it as best as I could.
Everyone complaining about “clickbait” when no knock outs gets more views than “minimal knock outs” and is easier to edit into the thumbnail, some people just don’t understand how things work on youtube.
