Creating and crafting hand-made rings from here in NSW Australia and we have been ring making since early 2019. Here on this channel we are showing the basic process of how our rings are made. If you would like to order your own ring you can purchase over at our Etsy store at etsy.com/shop/hjkrings
@@joshuaplank883 Have you tried the CA glue finish method yet? It holds up better than epoxy in my opinion if applied thoroughly and doesn't get cloudy like epoxy/resin sometimes can. Also if you shower or wash dishes with your ring on it will tarnish almost any finish alot quicker
Thanks. I like the way you are creative with tools you use.....the sanding disk with a lathe makes so much sense. Why buy an attachment when the answer is already in your shop.
Looks great and I like to try to make a ring like that . What are you coating the ring with? it looks like it is UV activated amd I correct about that?
Jesus loves you and died on a cross and rose three days later taking our place and paying our debt (for the wages of sin is death) so you can have eternal life and be forgiven of sin if you repent and pick up your cross and follow him daily
@@hjkrings9976 Thanks for the info and about the wire... Seems easy on a video, but was quite a chore when i tried th at first... Superglue did not work... wire was not smooth... oh well, good experience still. :)
Nice man looks beautiful, I made myself a ring out of red gum with a copper inlay yesterday and while i was making it i came across some old gemstones in one of my bits n pieces box, might give this a try, although yours looks amazing haha
Hey Nick, it was just a cutting/polishing compound. Usually known as burnishing cream. More or less does the same job as micro mesh its like sanding with a very fine grit.
