Is that the average? Almost a year to do something like this? It’s beautiful, it just doesn’t seem like it should have taken a whole year. But very nice!😁
It is a nice change and I'm sure the pool is fun. The only suggestion I'd have made would be to have some more space for plants instead of a solid concrete slab. It would be great with a bed for some bamboo or a palm tree or two by the door to break up the visual impact.
No, they have not complained at all. The equipment is actually closer to the front of my house and far from neighbors front door that they cannot hear it at all.
Bond beam height. Spa height in relation to your water level. Is it a zero level spa or slightly elevated? Stair entry width and stair height/ spacing. Sorry for the questions, but your backyard is similar to mine and your pool dimensions and style is what I am looking to use. Thank you
@@briana8655 bomebeam is 1 foot above grade, then around 18 incj above water level. Spa is infinity overflow 6x6 foot. Stairs are 8 feet wide with 6 inch steps. Pool depth is 3 to 6 feet. Swim out bench is 6 feet wide.
@@ThomasMurphy In retrospect, is there anything you would do differently in designing the pool i.e. depth, water features, more seating? Thank you again. Enjoy your paradise!
@@briana8655 So the size and shape of yard really dictated the shape of the pool. Rectangle gave us maximum pool area over a free form pool. We also have a 5 foot minimum set back from waters edge to house and property lines. No regrets, the spa was worth every single penny. We live in NJ so we open pool mod April and close in October and get max use out of spa. The iaqualink automation is also a must have so easy to turn spa on, air jets, waterfall, vacuum adjust temperatures, change pool colors. If I had to change one thing perhaps would have made the steps caddy cornered to spa or bombeam corner so add a little more standing room in low end. But people sit on steps, swim out bench and its even nice to put your feet up in the spa even when it off. All rhe water is filtered the same. Did you watch the timelapse video I made of the construction of the pool?
From your house to the back fence what is the distance? This yard looks very similar to mine! I just put painters tape to see how it would look. Just want a reference with yours. Looks great btw!
@@ThomasMurphy thanks! Just measured mine and it’s 22 1/2 feet from house to fence, however I have some side yard i can use to add a little more space! this video and your response is very encouraging. Video bookmarked! Hope you are enjoying your backyard oasis!
