A 223 round is actually 224 in diameter. Of course a dedicated 22lr barrel is gonna be more accurate because of the fitting of the bullet in the bore and the higher twist rate. The whole purpose of the conversion kit is to be able to tactically train with your go to AR without having to spend a ton of money on ammo. And most people know that most firearms, magazines, etc ...require a break in period to function correctly. hence the reason nobody buys a brand new firearm and then starts carrying it as a ccw right away. Just the way he stands with the AR tells you he has no experience with tactical training. Hunting, possibly, tactical training, nope!
I love my Bug Buster, but I'm used to my nice Bushnell scope, so at about 50 yards, the Bug Buster looks a bit fuzzy. But that's fine its a budget compact scope not a long ranger.
If you want the utmost accuracy from your slug gun, use at least a 22 or even a 24 inch rifled barrel is a must.... 18.5 inch is definitely inadequate...
Just bought this sexy beast this week! I can safely say all my food groups are filled; APX centurion 9 FS 22LR .22(wife’s fave). New purchase 92 6 total pistols and 1/2 are Italian art pieces👍🏻
Holy crap I’m glad I saw this video before I bought this gun. That’s the most pathetic hundred yard group I’ve ever seen. I bought the Smith and Wesson 9 mm carbine. It’ll shoot 3 inch groups at 100 yards all day.
I hate to say this, as I'm genuinely a tomayto -- tahmahto kinda guy, but they are SAHBOW, or subowh, or even saybow slugs, not sahbot. It's from the French language. Sorry, it just grates on the ear. I'm really not trying to be an English Nazi, and it doesn't matter really, say it however you want, but it's just strangely bothersome. Great video otherwise! I'll sub!
Sig xten owner here.. i load 220gr hardcast from rim rock bullets. This is the same projectile used in buffalo bore's heavy outdoorsman. Absolute beast of a round. Great video bud!
I want to get an optic but I have been a little confused of it staying that it uses the RMS footprint, but when I search RMS sights it automatically switch to RMS(c) footprint. Is that the same?
I'm a profound proponent of this three gun set: a 22LR handgun, a shotgun with a smooth bore n a scoped rifled barrel. Oh, that's only 2-1/2 guns though. I never was good at math. That collection with cover any situation inside of 200yd. Farther away? Hunt closer, hunting isn't supposed to be easy. If it's a threat, it's far enough to hide or escape from.
Good choice of Beretta. The storm was designed from the ground up to handle .40cal. It is the perfect balance between capacity and power. But for those of you who are all about capacity, the Px4 has 14 round mags available that sits flush and 17 round mags that stick out an inch. Walking into back country with 18 rounds of 135g with 675ftlb is like walking into the woods with an 18 round 357 mag. That is the capacity of 3 357s and that is some serious medicine.
not a good video of the potential of sabot slugs . maybe he was just shooting really bad choice of shells. ive never seen a hornady sabot fly like that.
