SLOVAK CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN was founded in 2015 as a one - day tournament for all
registered PGA members. After two years the PGA Slovakia decided to organize a two
rounds tournament and an additional tournament for PRO-AM tournament for partners.
In year 2017 the Slovak Championship Open hosts in Penati Golf Resort on the Heritage
Course, one of the top of 100 continental Europe Courses. In year 2018 the tournament
course changed to legend course designated by Jack Nicklaus. This year, 2019, players
will again play the Slovak Championship Open at the Legend Course, one of the most
beautiful golf courses in Europe and the longest hole in Europe.
Last year we hosted professional players from seven foreign countries, such as England,
Switzerland, China, Slovenia, etc. This year we welcome also a player with 6 PGA Tour
victories, Rory Sabbatini, who will participate in a professional tournament in Slovakia
first time.
