Though "You'll Never Know" (33:34) was featured in the film "Four Jills in a Jeep", the song is more well-known from the 1943 film, "Hello, Frisco, Hello", sung by Alice Faye as well, which I recommend viewing.
A lot of these arrangements are the originals from the films, especially the songs from the Warner collection. So wonderful! 🎶👏🏼

This is a great concert performance, but why is that woman wearing a man's tuxedo? If she couldn't afford a decent show gown, why didn't they all donate to the cause? I find her attire no more acceptable than if that man chose to dance around and sing in a lady's dress! As a matter of fact, given the subject matter of this performance, at least a dress on him would be amusing. She, on the other hand, is just a bore. I don't like her taste one bit!
Just as refreshing as if was being performed for the first time right now.

I would think that with a performance of this stature, the tops to the grand pianos should be in their proper place, especially, given the presence of audio mics. People do notice this sort of thing, otherwise, we'd just forego the entire affair, opting for a simple audio presentation on our sound system instead.
@@richardhunt304 Mr. Hunt, you dare to question my authority on the subject? Well, allow me to further enlighten you. A grand performance demands the full effect and that would include all visuals. The grand pianos are missing their tops! This, my good man, is an abomination! Grand pianos should never be without their grand tops while on display. Have I explained myself sufficiently, to please your questioning of my observation?
The lids of modern grand pianos are designed to project the sound towards the player's right (i.e., the audience), and this wouldn't serve the orchestra well if the pianos are not arranged in profile. If the lids were on during this performance, the miking would have been harder and those behind the piano would not have been able to see the conductor. Perhaps sometimes you should let actual musicians make the decisions instead of declaring yourself a messianic sage of all earthly wisdom.
The singer sans microphone very good indeed. And the wsrdrobe master/mistress/ coordinator the two women before and after the red sashed one were so distinctively dressed yet using quite simple elements.
EXCELLENCE!!!! - John....You did not even sweat.....That's because the Event, (The Outstanding John Wilson Orchestra, John Wilson...Himself, (No-other) and the Eloquent Singers) were SO COOL! Gwen; Baltimore, Maryland. Thank you....
Considering that most of this music is nearly a century old ,it still sounds as fresh as the day it was written. Thanks to John Wilson and his wonderful orchestra.
Who to say on respect then are An Work of so Quality?!;Nothing More Then::'Mines Congratulations;and what;...to Who Are of Continuous to doing Part of This ......,what go on so,with So Quality and Development;that's All Folk's ! . !;
Yes, the raw material is great. But let no one underestimate the quality of this presentation. This is an orchestra under perfectionist discipline, yet performing with spirit and joy. And yes, John Wilson is a stylish performer up there, but much greater credit goes to him for crafting this outstanding orchestra.
Everyone please help John see this comment. - I was going to see you in Cardiff but it got cancelled. Please come to Bristol next year... I've wanted to see you for years. And think you are THE mastermind of modern orchestral music.
When I was in Highschool, I had a problem .... My English was not to good, until my teacher announced to the class, that whoever would sing the National Anthem in front of the class, would get an A rating for the last term! And so I did, sing the 'God save the Queen'(1977) in front of the whole class and I could finish my exams on time! Thank you Mr. Walrecht for not letting me down! Joost from Holland!
I’m proud to be from the country where all this great music comes from, and the whole world gets to enjoy it. They sure don’t make music like this anymore. So beautifully performed by this orchestra and beautifully sung by all those singers.

Be careful with all that pride. I'm not entirely sure that it's good for you, considering the spiritual aspects involved, as is related in biblical teachings.
This is music I’m talking about not religion. It’s religion in your perverted mind.

@@samueljaramillo4221 Now, now, Sammy boy, let's be civil. There's certainly, no religion being brought up here, I assure you. I'm just merely pointing out where one might find a reference to the subject matter at hand. That subject, being this little ole bit of foolishness, we call, "pride." That's all. Don't mind me. I'm just the messenger of fate.
