Ngl Very obscure reference for this episode but Enya touched on something so actually real when she said the MAGA people need a hobby like crocheting , etc etc etc Social infrastructure is so important to making sure that people don’t turn to radicalizing ideologies and figure heads who look solely to exploit them by pretending to acknowledge the real hurt they’ve endured due to late stage capitalism / corporate socialism if people actually had enough expendable income to even consider putting it towards a side hobby, they would! Or if their city invested in things like community programs, public pools, walkable cities, parks, etc etc There would be far less isolationism and far less xenophobia and far more community and hobbies!!! Idk very interesting to me
