Do the make liners for this. Seems like that would be easier to keep it clean

Thank you! This is one of your best pop-up camper info videos of all. Your explanations are thorough, yet simple enough that most beginners should be able to grasp all of the basics. On top of that, you answered several important questions I have had about generators, operating air conditioners, and the whole part about converters, inverters, and how to utilize the 12-volt system when off-grid. Thanks again!

I have that same popup and I can’t get the water from the holding tank to work. I can hear the pump but no water. It’s like needs to be primed somehow? City water connection works perfectly fine

To avoid the shifting, you need to gona bit past level, push the chock in then let the camper settle back.

Great video! However, you can gain much greater access to the holding tank for cleaning and inspection by removing the larger tank cover. The square slide cover is within a larger round cover. The larger cover can be removed also. If you look CLOSELY around the seam of the larger round cover, you'll find a small triangle pointer. It points at a circle on the tank. Counterclockwise from that circle, you'll find a circle in a circle, two circles. If you turn the large cover counterclockwise until the triangle pointer, points to the double circles, the entire larger cover can be removed. It requires some force to turn the larger cover so the pointer, points at the double circles, because it seals against the tank very well. You'll be able to see inside the tank easily AND you'll be able to clean and check the magnetics on the float which indicated when the tank is full!

I use mine at a lake property, so it rarely moves. I took two steel trailer wheels, without tires, and had three pieces steel welded onto the wheel to make it sort of a jack-stand. I bolt the wheel to the axle in place of tires, and it is stable and secure. I don't have to worry about the tires going flat and nobody is going to steal it without removing the stands and putting on tires.

Headlamps are great for setting up in the dark because the light is directed wherever your face is pointing toward....and your hands are free to work with. With LED lights, they can be bright and yet the batteries last a long time.

I just followed your exact method for cleaning my outside vinyl (I think for the first time ever) on my 1989 Coleman Sun Valley. I only had time to do one side but WOW, what a difference. It helped me realize how dirty it was. The Protect All was a great way to finish it. Thanks for making all the great videos!

Your video has been so helpful for me on my "new to me" popup camper. I started with the interior canvas that had a serious mold issue on each end . I used the Starbrite product you referenced and was amazed at the results and how easy it was. Today, I am working on the exterior vinyl. I have a feeling the vinyl had never been cleaned. Again, I used the degreaser that you mentioned and the magic eraser. Again, I was so surprised how easy it was to clean. My next step is to apply the Protectall, it's going to look as good as new when I'm done! Thank you so much for making this video, I had absolutely no idea how to start the process of cleaning the canvas and vinyl on my pop-up camper.

Indoor lights don't work? You may have a safety button that engages when you flip the sink. You can make the yellowed plastic look new using a process with 12% peroxide cream.

How well dose the heater work? That is to ask for example how cold can it be outside and still maintain say 70 degrees inside the camper. Also I see it has a blower. How long will the battery last? Thanks!

Do you happen to have the owners manual in pdf? Do you know where I can download it? I just bought the same camper and cant find it online at all. Asked Jayco customer service by email and completely ignored (but to include me in their email marketing list of course they were fast)

Great helpful videos. You might want to mention in many locations that you shouldn't drain any antifreeze or bleach solutions into storm drains as they often go into fish bearing streams etc. and this will result in significant stream habitat damage. Its a hassle but it needs to go into a septic or city drainage system from a grey storage.

I am VERY new at camping and just purchased a like new 2013 Forest River Flagstaff pop up. The electrical system is concerning me because, even with the 30 amp shore power plugged in to my house with a 15amp adapter, the wall socket works fine, but neither the overhead lights or the ceiling exhaust fan work. I have a 110 volt fan plugged in the wall socket and it works immediately. I checked the breakers, the cord, the adapter, but no fan or lights. Then, all the sudden after about 20 minutes I tried them again, and now they work. Can anyone tell me if this is normal, or is something amiss? Thank you very your time!

The LED strip looks great! There are awning LED strip kits that for about $50 that are better suited for a camper. They include a C-channel & 3M adhesive strips that grips to the side of the camper. The LED strip itself is encased in a silicone sleeve to make it waterproof which then locks into the C-channel. It comes with a RF remote (rather than infrared) so the remote can be anywhere to change the color. You don't to line of sight to the controller.

Very nice thank you . I have an older StarCraft popup with the circle holder for the flush. Is the water supposed to work for the toilet just being hooked up to the campsite water hose? Or do I need to have the electric pump on which I thought was supposed to be used for the water holding tank? I don’t have water running when I twist the circle.
@nickchevrier4134
@nickchevrier4134 Месяц назад
Hey, great vid any thoughts on why the same model electric flush will not work? I changed the fuses and they are good to go, does the campers water pump need to be on or does the cassette toilet have its own individual pump that could be malfunctioning? Would there be any other switches that I am missing?

Sorry I misunderstood your comment. We did finish the mod and you’re correct, that cooler is discontinued. We bought the door off of eBay so it may also be not available. I would size the door to your specific cooler if you’re looking to do the same.
