When I’m monitoring the recorder with headphones, why is sound only coming out of one headphone, but when I press the settings for this channel it plays in stereo?
having a strange issue where i can monitor mic audio outside OBS but cant get mic signal in OBS itself? interface is working with monitoring and other audio, just no luck with picking up voice on PC..
Proud to say that even tho you were specifically speaking about Windows, poking around the sound and system settings on my Macbook Pro resulted in a similar outcome. I was able to add my G5 earbud with microphone and set up. I restarted OBS and it found the G5 and made it available as an audio input device. Perfect! Thanks, Drew!

Hey there! I'm borrowing one from a friend, and I went in and it's selected to STEREO, but I have a lav mic plugged into the left side, let's say channel one, and it only recored to the L channel. Is there a way to have the mic in the left channel and recored to both the L and R channels? Thanks!

Do you know if the main L bracket will go in the opposite direction like ⅃ (I want to be able switch directions) while attached. Can you take off the clamp and attach it to a normal thread mic stand?

I did not have the mic holder head with me, or I would have demonstrated that as well. I hope this helps!

There was no need to have the kid scream and blow my ear drums. You could have normalised the volume and still achieved your demonstration. I nearly crashed my car trying to turn the sound down quickly.

Exactly! Learning for it's own sake is great, but for me learning in context is so much more powerful. I learned an astounding amount of physics not in lab, but in calculus class. And most of my knowledge of languages other than English (my second language, with Boston English being my first) came in music class. Making those connections add depth to the breadth of knowledge.
