The instructions are VERY lacking in detail. I appreciate minimalism in the physical space, but assembly instructions should be clear so that customers don't waste precious time and possibly damage an otherwise decent product. The adjustable back is very creaky, and the pull-out extension easily becomes misaligned and stuck in a way that you can't pull it out further without some forceful coaxing. The quality feels in line with IKEA, but the price is more in West Elm's realm.
