I have a baraccini mar blue but it won’t pass a pipe cleaner and the blue bowl finish blistered after a couple uses. It does look good though. I’d rather have spent my money on a Morgan bones.
@@kirkpoff67 Morgan bones pipes are fine indeed. I hate your Baraccini is less than satisfactory. All pipe makers crank out a lemon once in a while. Good to have your feedback. 👌🏼
Yes I think Baraccini is exclusive to P&C. I have the 628 mare blu smooth. Had it for about 4 years now. Nice smoker but the top half of the bowl is getting pretty dark. But I smoked well over 300 bowls in it. Still smokes beautifully.
@@jeffd1147 wow 300 bowls! Sounds like your Baraccini has already proven itself. Hope I can say the same for mine one day. Thanks so much for your comment.

Interesting facts that I knew nothing about. I loved ODF since the first time I tried it. And it pairs very nice with a good bourbon. Excellent review!
The thing I think of with retrohaling is bbq. When you smoke meat, the flavor of the smoke stays with the meat. So while you eat it it maintains that Smokey flavor even though the smoke and fire have been removed. Applying this to pipe smoking, you kind of smoke your sinuses like bbq. Thus the smell of the blend stays with you. And when you combine the draw with the lingering previous retrohale it intensifies the experience. Keep the videos coming brother. Hope to have a pipe with you soon.
Just found your channel. Liking your style my bro! What a top spot to sit and reflect. I have something similar on my farm, a quiet spot where I can't see or hear the cows. Peace from New Zealand.
Great video. Thank you for talking put me out of ever trying to Retro hale my pipe. I've tried for years to figure it out and never once been able to do it. It is very difficult for some of us to be able to make retrohale even happen. But as someone who suffers from sinus issues and mild tongue bite, the last thing I want to do is add Nose Bite to the list of side effects of pipe smoking. Burning and tingling in my nose does not sound like a good thing to me.
Some people are more sensitive to pipe smoke all the way around. Thats ok. Do what is best and most comfortable for you. And most enjoyable! Thanks for the comment. 🤙🏼
Good Afternoon 😊 Good Pipe 😍 Nice Tobacco 😋 I retrohale alot 😂 The flavours are more enhanced 👏🏼👏🏼Thanks for the demonstration 👍🏼 When someone made me laugh with coffee in my mouth , i choked , coughed , and my nose was burning 🤣🤣 Have a good day & Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦
Hey man great to hear from you! We both love retrohaling! 😁 The flavors are totally enhanced. I used to get milk up my nose while laughing with my buddies at school lunchtime. Fun & not fun. 😆 ✌🏼😎✌🏼🇺🇸
You mentioned when someone makes you laugh, this happened to me about a month ago with a mouthful of whiskey, I thought my snout was on fire and nearly blew my cap off!😂 Great relaxing video fella as I enjoy my first bowl of the day.
I understand. That’s a sensitive area up there. If you could get used to that feeling it might be worth it for you, but it’s not for everyone. I’m sure you still enjoy your pipes plenty! Thanks for the comment. 👍🏼👍🏼
@@quietpipeinthewoods well yes, it's the original. Hearth & Home were inspired to make a clone when Dunhill announced they were leaving the market. also, you should try: Hearth & Home's Signature: "Daybreak" which is their take on Dunhill/Peterson's "Early Morning Pipe" Both the "Early Morning Pipe" / "Daybreak" and "Magnum Opus" / "Nightcap" are complementary tobacco blends.
Man, thank you for this video. You very eloquently put into words exactly why I fell in love with pipe smoking just a couple months ago and have continued to hold on to it like the precious thing it is. I have no doubt that your experience smoking pipes had some influence on your ability to articulate these ideas so well. Enjoy your pipe, enjoy your woods, wish you the best.
Always a pleasure to get a comment like this. You said it perfectly. It’s so nice how we identify with each other through time and space. I’m very happy you enjoyed this video. Sounds like you’ve found a deep love of pipe smoking like myself! 👍🏼👍🏼😌
Hi Cory, I don't really store my baccies, well, it depends. If I open Spark Plug I know it will be smoked fast enough to not care to store it but baccies like Capstan who dries faster I jar it. I tend to jar my flakes more than my ready rubbed baccies. Good video as always. And what a hat! haha
My tobacco doesn’t seem to hang around long enough to age( I smoke it up). I buy bulk and leave it in the baggie and store it in a cigar humidor ( no cigars). I enjoy your videos by the way.
DT can have a strong character and flavor in a blend, so it’s probably not for everyone. I do love the old school taste Crooner has. Thanks for watching!
I did my divorce video on gentalman caller on the day of my divorce. I really enjoy it on occasion. Such a nice blend on a porch in the summer! Might need to pick up a tin of this. Thanks
Good afternoon, I’ve just found your channel and to say hello from North Yorkshire 🇬🇧 it’s great that I’m still finding like minded pipe smokers. Have a great day buddy. Jonathan.
So glad to hear from you & have you watching Jonathan. Thanks for the comment. Hope your day is a fine one as well. Best wishes from the United States of America! 🇺🇸 ✌🏼😁✌🏼
