This channel is dedicated to my grandparents and their dairy farm. The farm was sold in January of 2020. It had been in the family since 1952. While not a long time to some people it was something that meant a lot to my family. Miss them and the farm, but the lessons and values they taught me will be present in my videos.
You can expect to see videos on collecting and processing firewood, servicing and maintenance of equipment used on the property, tips and tricks on gardening and planting trees, and caring for our chickens. If I can show someone something they can use in their life then everything I'm doing is totally worth the effort. I feel like we are losing this as a society. Main objective with this channel is to help viewers and give them confidence anyone can do anything if you put in the effort. I'm not an expert and I probably mess up more than I get it right but my grandfather would always say. "Do the best at whatever you do in life because people respect that."
Tried to buy a tune up kit for this at lowe's for the 525 models but apparently it doesn't work because the air filter is different. Wonder why they don't offer a tune up kit for this?
At 10:35 the tires go on. Note two things when you install the tires when the trailer is upside down....because the left tire is mounted on the rim opposite the right. 1.) The tread has V shape on them and the point of the V, when looking down at the tire when the trailer is up-side-down, points to the rear of the trailer. 2.) The air valve is on the outside so it is accessible for filling. Once you turn it over you can see there is an arrow symbol on the tire showing proper rotation. Get either of these things wrong and you have some unpleasant undoing to correct it.
have you found a source for the adhesive backed ceramic sanding discs? I contacted VEVOR and they do not sell them. Would appreciate a good source for these. I think the discs are not garnet or silicon carbide but a different abrasive compound.
Your missing your seat Isolaters & likely the bolts that hold them in place. I think it's worthwhile to have them in place. They do wear out & mine has been replaced I think twice in about 21 years. i.ytimg.com/vi/tiEvciCnm_I/maxresdefault.jpg
Thanks for the in-close view of the construction of the netting. It is supplanted the Starkline netting that was in first place, at least until the operation returns enough money, and assuming this fencing just doesnt last.
I bought this 5x8 trailer with the mesh bottom back in March, 2022 from Tractor Supply; overall, this is a decent trailer. However the paint quality leaves a lot to be desired. I've only had it for 2 years and a lot of the paint has pealed off and rust forming everywhere. I can say for sure this trailer was not dipped because the areas behind where the front brackets bolt on has no paint, because it was sprayed when assembled. I now have to do a complete restoration if I want this trailer to last. It is just disappointing to see how it has deteriorated in just two years.
Try locking it back to the trailer with the locking slide open and rock the truck back and forth. If that doesn't work, spray PB blaster or WD -40 down the boxed shaft in the truck bed. This happened to me, which is why I grease those components. now.
My WD is a mix in that it has 45 engine in a 40 chassis. Still going strong mowing with a brush hog attached. I use a NAPA product “Gas RX” in it. One shot glass to 5 gallons of unleaded gas. NAPA guy sez it neutralizes the harmful effects of the alcohol.
Thanks for the video, it’s very helpful, just a fyi, there’s a 4 on the end of the part number for the oil filter, when citing the part number you ended on 2, just don’t want anyone getting confused is all.
Sorry to hear of your divorce.. How old are your children? Sounds like you have many plans for your new place. I think it would be a good idea. To take some of the boards off the old tobacco barn and make a smaller storage building to keep your lawn mower, equipment and tools in. Keeping them out of sight and being stolen. Your oil change pit would be also useful for changing lawn mower blades and cleaning mower deck off if the top could have board laid making the top narrower. Just a thought. I was married for 43 years. Then my late husband got sick and passed 12 years ago. Thank you for the video. Blessings to you.
I've had two Z540M 48 inch cut mowers. The second mower (2018) four years old has 371 hours. You better check your owner's manual. That Kawasaki engine tales 2 quarts and 1 cup of SAE 10-30 Turf -Gard oil. NOT 1-1/2 quarts. I wish they had a drain plug to change the transmission oil. Every 200 hours the overhead (valves adjusted) has to be checked on the Z540M. Every time I get done mowing I take the foamy black filter off air cleaner and rinse and let dry. Also tap dirt out of air cleaner, Thank you for the video. Blessings to you.
Best trimmer in the world. Never thought being a echo guy i would switch but i been using mines since spring and have no issues with it. Keep the factory head, also if you need help clearing that easier try their xp line. Its efficient and still clean. Its why i keep the guard on to get full power when i need it even though im buzzing through properties with that extra inch and torque like a speed demon. 😤💪 Enjoy it!

Hi, I just had the furnace installed and tried to fire it up. Any tips on getting this thing going? I did not see any fire bricks on the bottom (under your wood) of your furnace when you opened the door. Should I temporarily leave the ash door open when first starting and turn on the small/front blower? Also what should the 3 pins (inside the thermometer) be set at? Thanks
I did another video after this one and showed how I got my fire going. I do have fire bricks underneath. Yes, I leave the ash door open in the beginning and will close it completely once the fire gets going. As far as the pins, I have mine set at 200 degrees. I think from the factory that are set at 150.
Thanks for the video! even with my readers I laughed at the instructions came in and looked and voilà there you were. I watched up to the big carriage bolt then I figured I had it. Remember the Lord and He will remember you! Second wife 38 years walking with God beside us!
My 2024 7x12 carry-on trailer I bought from tractor supply has horrible welding splatter all over the trailer that they painted over I need to sand all that down and repaint those areas
When the Next Gen trailers were in stock, their quality was way better than the others. I think they have stopped making the Next Gen's because I haven't seen any in the last two years. The first 5x8 trailer I had wasn't the best quality, but again, for the price and what I used it for, it was fine for me. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I burned just over 5 cords last year. Again besides space heaters that's my only source of heat. I also don't have any type of ductwork so that's just radiant heat coming from vent holes cut in each room. The house stays comfortable with a constant fire.
Good Morning Sir, Ho boy you had a rough landing 😢I'm happy that you have help from your family and friend 🙏🧐Nice wheel chair 🤣🤣👍 Be Well Sir keep Up Your OUTSTANDING UP Spirit Cheers 🍻🍻
I always pulled the drivers side pin on the top play and ran my emergency cord through their. I just put the cotter pin back in after I attached the cord. I no longer have the camper so I can take a picture for you.
Hey Andy, glad to see you're still making videos, looks like you're doing well. You probably don't remember me but we spent a little "time" together over in Havre De Grace a few years ago. I must have searched out your channel at some point because you just popped up on my feed. Anyway, just wanted reach out and say hey.
Hey buddy, I hope all is well. It's hard to believe that was 3 years ago. I hope everything is going well for you. It's just the grind as ever for me. Just different circumstances. I'm always available if you need anything, man. Have a good one.
Good Morning Sir 😇👍🌞That is very long working hrs that you are doing 💪👌😇These darn foxes,,, I had the same problems too 😤Hope that electric fence will work 😇👌👍 Keep Up Your OUTSTANDING Family Dad Work and Video and Please Do Rest too Sir Cheers 🍻🍻
FYI, the tires are rated for 120KG Max Load...which equals 265 lbs. So the max loading 530 lbs, less the approximate weight of the trailer of 120 lbs., leaves 410 lbs max load for the tires. So, 1500 lbs is way overrated by a factor of 3X. My trailer also had some issues of expanded metal being over cut (leaving short) at the corners. This could be a safety issue if bent down which would create a hook for anything that fell through the opening. I'll have to weld up a patch of some sort. I also drilled holes to couple the two orange side rails so they could clip together at the middle (instead of clipping the tail gate on.) One final set of holes drill through the front frame into the front orange rail, and a bolt keeps the front rack portion attached to the frame so I can use it as a handle.
Question I have a gr262 and your starts on like the 3rd revolution lol mine rakes almost a dead battery to crank to start was alway hard to start when my step dad had it but if u put a drop or to of gas in the card it fires right up
