I'm not 100% sure either, but from the video it's cleary half court only as you say, but also the returner starts from mid court. Could be another less obvious rule in play too though.
It’s hilarious because Ymer is considered one of the weakest hitters on tour but to Simon he might as well be sinner. That’s why Inglidsen dropped your ass 😂
@@Simon.Freund Simon, I love your attitude, approach to the game, and humility. And you hit the ball so clean! It's disappointing to see a commenter or two be a hater - but I guess that is the price of success. Top 200 in the world in doubles is amazing...your channel is amazing too. No wonder people are trying to bring you down. Anyway I have learned a lot from you and find this channel super inspiring. I know many others do as well.
@@haljam8828didn't get caught doping. Got in trouble for missing drug tests although you should look into it. Many other players have complained about unfairness in these tests. The same thing happened to brooksby
I can't imagine how hard it must be to play against a player at that level. Just keep going. I am looking forward to watch you play against the top players on TV one day😊
I remember this so well. Really good practice session. You were so quick around the court. Hope you're doing well and miss seeing you on RU-vid. Cheers, M
The difference in technique between the world number 1 and number 100 or even 300 isn't much. It's more about the level of intensity at which they're still comfortable. That's why Jannik is so good. He can launch bombs all day from both wings, and can do so incredibly consistently.
I just found out about this serve and the funny thing is that my serve developed naturally to be like that and my coach would always tell me to fix my grip, but I insisted in using it and now I feel like I was ahead of my time lol. this all happened 15 years ago
