I was on emerald/steel as well 🤣 Even though I had a rough day, I still feel like I made the right meta call. Just came down to evaluating the current meta game & understanding that pairing at key advantages in most match ups. Good episode & glad I got to finally meet you guys at the event!
Omg, I sympathize with Adara. My husband and I left at 1 am Friday and drove straight to the venue to check in and start side events. It was an 8 hour drive 😅 I don’t think we are young enough anymore to do stuff like that 😂😂😂😂
Hello I am new to Lorcana and would like to build a deck for myself and would like to ask since cards from the 6 have already been shown, which may be a meta deck from set 6 I will find e.g. green purple gets good support
I'm a bit curious about what they'll actually do with the starter decks. You said the Chip and Dale cards will all be Starter Deck cards buuuut except for Gadget they're all Amber. And Amber is one of the colors of the Pirate Deck, NOT the Rescue Rangers/BH6 Deck. Do you think they'll put Chip and Dale in the Pirate Deck then? And also it's curious how many of the Pirate cards from D23 are Emerald, and one even has the "Inventor" Classification. So maybe they put them in with the inventors too? It would be kind of weird to have these two Starter Decks so mixed up in terms of the IPs they draw from... But I can't imagine that they just leave all cards of Chip and Dale out either. I assume the other characters from Rescue Rangers could be in Sapphire or Emerald but it seems like Chip and Dale might be exclusively Amber.
Agree 100% with your take on the online client and it’s fanatics. It’ll happen, it’s only a matter of time, but people being annoying about it isn’t going to make it happen any faster.
Great show! Loving this set so far! I can neither confirm no deny if I've started testing with BH6 cards lol Can't wait to see you guys in Vegas this weekend. Just an fyi, the art for Carefree Stitch on the binder is the regular art not the enchanted art.
A lot of fun, the one thing that comes thru so clearly when talking with Ryan or Steve is how much they love this game, their passion to make it a wonderful experience for everyone who plays or collects is just beyond question.
Great interview! You can really tell there's a lot of love put into this game which excites me as a new tcg player only just staring my Lorcana journey. Keep up the good work.
1 Question. How much collaboration is there between the Wizards and the Ravens? Fortune Teller Brawl Smash Avalanche Corrupt Official* Party Crasher Vicious Betrayal Beloved Princess Boss' Orders
Maribel wears glasses which means she is a nerd. Her power is Intelligence and Love. She gathered intel and used forecasting from Brunos Prophecy. Which is why Bruno Unspeakable Seer gave foresight into Prince Johns Mirror because of Greediest of All. Understand symbolism!
Interesting Idea. Illumineers Quest has Gold Cards. Q1. There will most likely be 9 quests. 50 card deck 50 cards x 9 decks = 450 cards Gold deck Tournaments? Gold deck game play?
great talk. if i ever get to ask steve or ryan a question id love to know if they plan on taking the game down the path of rotation or keep it a eternal card game like yugioh.
I personally think that the best thing to do is to go the route of Magic. As the game grows and the years pass, it will make sense to "reset" it every so often. Magic has multiple formats, Standard being the format that uses the newest few years of cards (in case you aren't familiar). Then there are older formats that let you use cards all the way back to the very beginning of the game. I'd much rather see thus system and multiple formats as the game ages. The most recent sets of cards format will rotate every few years, changing up the game and the decks to keep things fresh. Then the players like me, who love the massive card pool and crazy deck-building afforded by years and years of cards, can play the "forever" format.
