Stop blipping the throttle like that stay steady with it annoying to watch and it hurts you if you get used to that roll on the throttle the only times it should be blipped is to blow it out when it’s cold and going down a steep long downhill when the clutch is pulled in so it doesn’t have a chance of loading up
This is the best video on this HCM specific topic. I WISH I WATCHED BEFORE INSTALLING MINE!!! I found at least on the throttle side that where it bolts to the clamp the two pieces were not flush. The pic on the back of the box shows to use (I guess hex head bolt) yet I notice you used the one that fits into the bevel. I think I'll try that but I'm pretty sure the threads won't like much more in and out... I'm also installing on a Husky TE 300
I just installed a set of these on my 23 te300. The bolts bottomed out before getting tight. I could still spin the washer with my finger under the head of the bolts. Are your's tightening up all the way?
Hey man! I’ve got a 500 EXC with the same factory bars you have, and I’m working on installing the same Cycra Ultra’s in my bike, but the HCM clamp doesn’t even come close to lining up well… did you have the same issue at all?
I didn't have any issues when installing these, are the clamps not lining up with the wrap around bars or the lower handle bar mounts? If it doesn't line up with the lower handle bar mounts you may have received the 7/8 mount kit instead of the 1&1/8 size that you need.
@@endurosquid the clamps are fine, they’re the right size… I can’t get the guards to align to the HCM mount well. They end up at an angle to the HCM clamp. I can put in the bolt, but it won’t mount flush.
You don't have to but I found that it's easier to remove the tank and to side shrouds all together. Plus I was installing some other parts that required to have the tank off.
suggestion - raise your f stop so everything is in focus. that way what you're working on is sharp, and the camera isn't constantly autofocusing trying to find you.
Im thinking about trying some of these msxc races. I will be 30 soon and have never raced before any advice you care to share? It looks like the hardest thing is following the trail.
sorry to just now see you're response still learning the ways around RU-vid. Hope you were able to get out and try the series. My Dad and I have some of our most favorite memories in this series.
