great work but for god's sake man, make a push stick and a hold-down! you cannot have your hands so close to the blade!!! there are so many variations on internet and it would be another good project, and you get to keep all your fingers!
where I live youre more likely to get mauled by a fkin dog but if you carried ANYTHING with you for defence youd get prosecuted for it. You are entitled to defend yourself but if you prepare to defend yourself because of fear of attack then that is treated as a criminal offence. You have to allow fkin dogs to maul you before you defend yourself.
If one side of that plastic covered cable comes loose and whips back through that nut you may very well lose your eye! I have been involved with archery and crossbows for over sixty years and was trained to instruct it and I also was trained to teach hunter safety. Be Warned. У меня такой был,только с шариком .и сейчас есть.проще и еыфективнее.свинцовый шарик грам на сто.кистень,верней,кистенек. Надо бы выкинуть .такая штука по башке приведет в чувство любого Навсегда.если выживет.без шарика не очень эффективна.убойная хрень.калечит вместо здрасте.выкину.вопрос,куда.
epoxies dont handle getting cold or heat very well and they also can't handle impact or twisting forces. Take the cable alll the way thru the handle and weld on a nut/cap of some sort. Also do the same at the hilt
