Six years late here, but in case you never rectified it, the valve or the forward direction steam supply pipe could be furred-up, or blocked in some other way. If possible I’d be checking those first. Always use distilled water and never tap water in your engine. 👍🏻 Your engine may well need some descaling attention due to the lime scale left by the tap water.
I got the same model and I do find the burner a lot fiddlly I'm going to come up witha better way, so wish me luck 🙏 also I can see you can get a remote. So for this I'm getting a cheap RC car remote Stiring function and add it hopefully all works it does in My head. But I'll see and if doesn't life goes on.
I have recently got my hands on a TT01 and started upgrading parts, starting with all ball bearings to replace the plastic bushings. I noticed there is a plastic bushing next to your spur gear, then ball bearing towards the center drive shaft. Is this supposed to be replaced when replacing all plastic bushings? I was a little confused when I saw it....I noticed Tamiya ball bearing 1280 is pretty close to the size and the circumference looks the same.
i disllike this kind of ESC and motor. they are not "plug and play" type but you need to solder the wiring by your own, it pretty get thing wrong easily if you are not a skillful welder. I think the factory of the ESC and motor just want to save the cost. many other choice in the market has "plug and play"
My TE1A was the first Christmas present I got after my dad died very young. It will always be with me and now entails the grandkids. It’s now 52 years old and still runs sweetly.
Im more into E cars trying to get my first Nitro Teuggy and this platform and brand is the one im getting would you like to do a video like a simple maintenance? I know its expensive thats why im into Lipo truggys but this one is insanely beautiful 👌
I still have mine, an uncle bought it for me & I remember the price mark being on the box, £7.25 was a lot of money back then! When I was a bit older I told my Dad I was going to sell it to buy something else & he said he knew someone who wanted it so I gave it to him to pass on & he brought me some money back the next day & that was that. Forward another 25 or so years when I’m clearing out his house following his death & I find it squirrelled away in his wardrobe. Bless him.

Hello. What is the exact material of the drawers? Are there 2 x 1 mm Polypropylen glued together, or 1 x 2mm PP ? How thick ist the bigger outside plastic? 3mm, 4mm 5mm or even more? Thanks so much. I need to build around 10 hauler bags for my RC stuff. Kind regards.
Since this is s surface radio the on/off switch is for non electric powered vehicles such as 1/5 scale gas buggies. The electrics system is totally separate and self powered so thus the need for the on/off switch. Same idea as a gas or nitro aircraft for an air radio
