yeah. append mode sucks. it's like an hour or so of un-skippable stuff happening back to back. Much better when it's paced out over the course of the story. the only kind of weird one is if you do the bonus Nemesia mission before you've met her on the Dunamis as Stocke knows stuff he shouldn't know yet. Aside for that one example, the rest flows properly chronologically. (basically though unless you heavily grind (or use the dlc item for xp books) you'll probably meet on Dunamis before hitting the minimum level for the mission, so it's a mostly avoidable issue.

You know, if Medius didn't try to kill Setti because of his ancient powers, he wouldn't become Grazel and have a mad desire to conquer the world. So if anything, everything going on in the story of both games, you can definitely blame on Medius.
This was really great. I'm thinking about getting nelke and the legendary alchemists for the nintendo switch later on when it's on sale. Even though it's really not my type of game, i'll still buy this game. I'm also thinking about buying the other atelier games for the nintendo switch too. ^_^

Cuz they care more about their city than everything else and by a certain old man doesn't like them either cuz they're making the same mistakes their ancestors did in Alchemy to do darker things.
On the main reason water is draining or disappearing is because it lost city was literally blown off the map which caused a massive explosion which is as powerful as a well meteor the size of a continent because the hole is so deep it goes all the way down to the core of the planet and it took thousands of years before the planet to actually dry up it's actually caused by well dust being caused by the explosion but it seems it took thousands of years for this to happen the problem is most people don't know the cause I mean Central knows about it but the rest of the world doesn't he calls the massive explosion which is causing well Extinction for the entire planet similar to the dinosaurs but it's much slower since humans can adapt. Their ancestors created floating cities and try to to regrow plant life which did work it worked for like thousands of years cuz Humanity would have gone extinct a long time ago without Alchemy cuz Alchemy both destroyed the world and sort of prolonged the inevitable but over time the environment and the entire ecosystem was destroyed so all the water is probably being drained down that massive crater or somewhere else.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
No offense, but I know there are child labor laws, but this is like back in medieval times sort of. But five Cole is equivalent to five cents and I know full well that children that were still working got paid at least a dollar or even five bucks which is like 100 cole or 500 Cole comparison .
I know from the second game with Escha & Logy, they discovered a lost kingdom of alchemist that blew themselves up with ancient alchemy, which left a giant crater that goes all the way to the center of the Earth, which damage the planet. As a result hundreds or thousands of years later, the water started drying up being the planet is pretty badly damaged because it wasn’t a normal explosion mess up the planet so bad that is losing energy and so the water is drying up.😱😱😱😱
Since you've played most of the series which would you recommend starting with. There on sale for the weekend. I can either pick up a trilogy or atleast buy the first 2 ryza games and then wait till they go on sale again.
I'm more infuriated by the time skip I got after the Bandit's King's Old Base. You finished the dungeon on the 24th and the cutscene brought you to 10 am on the 25th. I finished on the 24th and was brought to 10 am on the 26th, not just missing a night and a morning but a full day and the next morning!
31:10 Regarding that concern...that's pretty common when playing certain protagonists in certain SaGa games. As you found out, Urpina's scenario is only linear-ish in Chapter 1. Chapter 2 and 3 throws you to the wolves. It's as if Urpina's main story was sort of done in Chapter 1. Chapter 2 gives you the vague objective of "rescue Maximus," but it's hard to reconcile that with the three Common Quest choices (Sigfrei, Scarlet Shards, Phoenix). I mean why stop to blow up Scarlet Shards when Max is in Azhuacan? Why chase after a flaming chicken when Max is in Azhuacan? Sigfrei I can sort of understand, but again, rescuing Dad should take priority over chasing after the world's biggest troll. Balmaint's scenario is the opposite of this...to a fault. You have direction, but you can ONLY go in that specific direction. In other words, his story is a lot more linear than Urpina's Chapter 2 and 3. Leonard is the most non-linear of them all, except the developers seem to do a better job of telling you where you ultimately need to go. Taria's scenario is like Urpina's with the three Chapter structure, minus the Chapter 1 linearity.
Taria's scenario has a similar mechanic to Urpina's, where at the beginning of each Chapter she can trigger a Common Quest by going to a specific region. Leonard does what Leonard wants for the most part--no Common Quest triggering. Just three objectives. Balmaint is the opposite of Leonard: can only go to certain places and can very rarely take a detour to to a Common Quest.
...and this is where Chapter 3 starts. Again: - North to Gradion: Scarlet Shards (but you already did that in Chapter 2) - West to Jusitania: Phoenix, which is what you chose - Northeast to Cerenaif or South to Bicyniro: Sigfrei For Common Quests that have already been done in Chapter 2, if you choose the same trigger region in Chapter 3: - North to Gradion will do nothing--you can free roam and do other side quests, but to advance the game, you'll have to reach a valid trigger region.. - West to Jusitania will become a second Scarlet Shards trigger - Cerenaif and Bicyniro will do nothing if you completed Chapter 2 Sigfrei. Again, free roaming until you enter a valid trigger region.
