I know this was 4 years ago but my speaker would crackle and pop. I order an oem for like $30 online and it was plug and play right into the existing clip. I was hesitant to do this for the longest time before I found this video. I was able to change out the speaker in less than 15 mins. Thank you so much!

My Explorer ST needs fluid changes, and I understand the engine oil and transmission fluid need to be replaced. I just want to make sure I’m covering everything. Do I also need to replace the front and rear differential oils, along with the transfer case fluid? Is that correct? I haven’t been able to find a video showing how to change the front differential fluid.

I installed the Audio Frog 8" subwoofer in My 2020 ford explorer platinum with a B&O 14 speaker Premium Sound System. I didn't hear too much of a difference. I know why...I did some research and found out that the factory radio has a bass Frequency cutoff at a certain volume. So it doesn,t really matter if you install a 12" sub or not. Your just not gonna get the boom you want from a factory radio..So i decided to add a 12" pioneer sub woofer along with the Audio Control LC2i Audio converter.This allows you to install a subwoofer that boost the bass even though the factory radio cut down the bass. I just purchased a plug and play harness that plugs into my factory 8" subwoofer amp behind the subwoofer box. It sounds alot better...But...alot of work. especially ON THE 2020 FORD EXPLORER PLATINUM.

Amsoil Z-ROD motor oil is designed for classic engines with flat tappet camshafts, and has too much zinc for modern engines and emission systems. AMSOIL Z-ROD is not API certified for that reason and will void the warranty on your engine and emissions systems. The API introduced limits on zinc due to damage caused to emission systems. Amsoil Signature motor oil also has too much zinc and also not API certified for that reason, but has a lot less zinc than Z-ROD. I would recommend Mobil 1 Extended Protection or Pennzoil Ultra Platinum.
@FatGuyBuilds
@FatGuyBuilds 12 дней назад
LOL, i have a total of 340,000 miles with all 3 of my new vehicles all running z-rod the entire time. i have actual data, from experience. No issues with any vehicle. no leaks, no wear, perfect oil pressure, etc... my 2013 focus ST was on z-rod for 181,000 miles before i sold it. your opinion is fine. but i will continue to use it.
@Mark-rw3kw
@Mark-rw3kw 12 дней назад
@@FatGuyBuilds I never said that motor oil with excess ZDDP will damage an engine, in fact it could help it. What I said is that it “can” (not will) damage the emissions systems (such as the catalytic converter). This is why the API does not certify that oil. This is not an opinion, it is a fact. If you live in an area where emissions systems are not checked by your state, then it may not be a problem for you. Typically classic cars (and Track cars) with flat tappet camshafts are exempt from emissions testing and may not even have catalytic converters. Modern engines without flat tappet camshafts don’t require that much ZDDP.

inner tierods are changed because the bushing goes bad-not so much as the tierod its self, so why did you not change the plastic bushings?
@FatGuyBuilds
@FatGuyBuilds 21 день назад
@williamtreat5893 what plastic bushings? You mean the steering bellows?
@williamtreat5893
@williamtreat5893 21 день назад
When you unscrew the inner tie rod there is a little nub that the inner tie rod screws onto, if the bellow is not leaking and the outer tie rod bushing is ok-but your having steering problems- you do not need to replace the steering rack just the steering rack bushing, the little nub is made of steel and over time it just eats that plastic peace up, and that is where you get the steering slop from, they are made of plastic from the factory, you just pull them out and push the new ones in
