Interesting or heartbreaking to have read some of the statements here, I was on UC for a while after moving houses, I never experienced any issues, it was a good service, never needed a food bank due my circumstances, now two years on, a retired State Pensioner of 68+ where things are more secure, only drawbacks was to contribute towards my rent, UC paid it all, I gathered that I’ll get a raw deal at the dentist, now retired, having to pay for my treatments.

Hi thank you for the video but I'm worried about the part mentioned about high court bailiffs. He mentions they can get a warrant and evict a tenant on the same day. Will this be with or without written notice for the tenant? How would the tenant know if the bailiffs are coming? Surely, even high court bailiffs must make the tenant aware in writing first.
Thanks for the video, can you please advise me on the following. I was with Bristol Energy which doesn’t perform business anymore. I was contacted by Credit Style to pay a bill and reached an agreement with them to pay 50% of it in monthly payments and I got an email from them to confirm it. After the last payment they asked me to pay the rest of the amount again denying any agreement. So what shall I do as they are saying they will take legal actions against me. Thanks

Cabot Financial DO NOT have legal standing to pursue debts that they've bought through the courts. That's not to say that they don't try (and often win) because they rely on debtors not knowing the law, not turning up to hearings, and thus being granted default judgements. When challenged, they can rarely prove that they have legal standing to bring a claim.
The high interest rate was built into their business model because a 3rd of all customers were not expected to repay their loans. Provident and Loansathome operated under the exact the same business model. Not an ideal model but at least it was monitored and regulated. Now they are all gone. I put a free ticket for 2 hours on my car in a euro car park in Dundee and as I usually do I put my phone on timer to register 1 hour 50 minutes giving me plenty time to get back. Got back with plenty time left and I had a parking ticket. Checked my phone to confirm what time I entered the car park and it confirmed I still had plenty of time but the time on my ticket and it was saying I was late when I still had about half an hour left. Will not be paying it. Took a screenshot of the time I entered and left the car park.
I defaulted on a card in 2009 due to illness for some odd reason it was never reported to any credit bureaus . I had the Citibank card between 1994 and 2009 and it never reported to the credit bureaus even when in good standing for some odd reason. it’s been 15 years and I still get calls from assuming zombie debt buyers
Might also be worth mentioning that Certificated Bailiffs ( UK ) need to have a Certificate.. ( clues in the name there! ) Which needs to be in date and carried either on their person or in their vehicle ( or a digital copy ) and should be produced for inspection if required, during the course of their duties 😉
Them and fedex are the worst. Fedex lost the parcel, I never received it and apparently according to CA I still owe customs fees despite that. Thanks for the video! Some good advice in here

Get them to call the police when they turn up. When the police turn up say this. Under section 26 of the 2015 Criminal justice act. Any police officer found aiding and abetting a fraudulent company or fraudulent officer is liable for up to 14 years. Don't pay CDER any money at all. They're a bulk dept company. The water and electric companies just rip you off anyway, they are nothing but a con job. My neighbour pays about £13 a month I think that he said. The bloke has a washing machine and a bath, I do not have a washing machine and I cannot get into a bath so I have to strip wash. Yet, they tried to charge me about £80 for four days of water, I worked it out to around £250 odd a month that they wanted me to pay for water. I refuse to pay it, and refuse to get into a contract with them. If I want water, then I will buy it from Tesco's. The electric company is the same, I have lived in three different towns and town 1 I was charged £80 a month for electric in a one bedroom flat, I was working the vast majority of the time so no electric was on. I then moved towns and into a studio flat, I had the same electrical equipment but my electric was less than £40 a month, I had so much money saved up on the electric meter that for a month every year I did not have to pay for electric, so Christmas and my Birthday was covered. I then move to a new town and again a one bedroom flat, and my electric bill has gone back up to £80 a month it is all a con job, my electric habits have not changed, I still have the same electrical equipment. Yet, they charge you more depending upon what kind of property you are in, so if you move into a house by yourself, they will charge you more because you might now have two bedrooms.
