D'arcy Elizabeth Wretzky-Brown, también conocida simplemente como D'arcy (South Haven, Míchigan; 1 de mayo de 1968), es una bajista y cantante conocida por su trabajo con la banda de rock alternativo Smashing Pumpkins, proveniente de Chicago. Además de tocar el bajo ha tocado violín clásico y oboe. También interpretó la canción "Daydream" del álbum debut de la banda Gish que fue lanzado en 1991. So these guys came along roughly the time Kurt Cobain died ; although some of their music didn't bleed onto the mix music stations until a couPle years later which was what station I was listening to at the time .
@@TheSiameseDreamer not sure that's accurate. I definitely remember one of his blog entries mentioning being on mushrooms in some celebrity's pool between mellon Collie and adore. And that Rio show he definitely looks like he's tripping!
I was at Reading this weekend. James Iha kept apologising for playing the new stuff (the album hadn't been released at the time). I don't think I was that impressed if I'm honest (it was the only time I saw them in the flesh), but I never seemed to like hearing stuff live before on record. Apart from that - it was awesome.
