Italian by birth. Turkish by design. American by demand.
BOCCHI is taking the US by fire-- fireclay, that is. With origins dating back to 1950, BOCCHI brings the history and charm of the Mediterranean to the U.S. Kitchen and Bath market, calling Alpharetta, GA home. BOCCHI’s wide range of products extends from classical to modern, each created by Turkish and Italian designers to lend European style and create distinctive American products that bring more warmth to the kitchen. The company’s special product groupings include timelessly elegant fireclay kitchen and bathroom sinks, with coordinating faucets, accessories and fixtures as well as a select line of Italian granite kitchen sinks.
Is there any issue installing this flush mount with the countertop, where the edge of the sink is resting against the side of the countertop, but slightly below. This would allow us to remove, or replace the sink without having to remove the countertop. Is this practical?
Question - if I'm going to be notching my granite countertop before I do the final install - why does the edge profile of the countertop have to be a flat edge?
I like how deep it is but I don’t know if I would really like just one big sink because I have always considered the side with my disposal side to be a dirtier sink and the the other side as a cleaner sink. I always rinse off dirty dishes in the disposal side and if I want to wash something by hand I use the clean side.
