that was a worthless video. You never did answer the question. How MANY cca do you need for each application? 200, 300, 400, etc. How many for how many CC. I won't be buying my next battery from throttle x.
Is it recommended to dismount the battery (on a motorcycle) before charging it? Or can you just hook the junior tender charger on the extension lead while the battery is mounted on the bike? I am asking this because the battery on my Kawasaki W800 is a pain to get to and dismount it. Thanks!
Mount a battery harness with SAE connection to the battery, and you can plug into that. Some smart chargers such as NOCO use proprietary connections, but they sell SAE adapters and I would stay with an SAE battery harness as it will let you with use most, if not all battery chargers.
+Hotdog1863 couldnt agree more, i wanted to check i was doing mine correctly, i.e. taking the cap off where the holes are for the acid, as once i had them flying around the garage, this just told us, make sure its 2amp and charge to 12v also marketing his chargers that i imagine he sells
Pretty sure the title says it's a "HOW TO"... I guess I must have assumed, based on said title, that I would learn how to charge this battery or a similar one, specifically how and where to place the leads. This was nothing more than a big ol fat advert for a battery charger! Silly me 🙄
interesting points ,if anyone else wants to learn about how to recondition old batteries at home try Basarto Renew Battery Blueprint ( search on google ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got great success with it.
I wouldn't really say this was a "step by step", but rather an explanation of the two different types of chargers. After watching this I do not know how to use either charger.
probably....check if you connected the positive to the positive and negative to the negative. Also make sure everything else is right like the engine switch and all that.
