I know this video is really old. But I’ve been fighting the radiance for a while now and I died RIGHT before I was able to hit it on the climb. I still kept my cool but that was a very sad thing indeed for it to happen.
Sometimes I come back to watch this to be reminded just how epic the boss intro was. One of the best boss intros in any game IMO. The white screen and everything.
I switched over to steam for hk so i currently have to relearn p4 and 5. I have been able to beat NKG radiant since then. Also did you ignore zote to avoid grey prince in this file?
@@KarmaLlama42 Exactly this. I felt the music was too loud during my many attempts haha. Plus yeah you can hear the gold orbs spawn better if you listen.
I actually can’t remember. It’s been so long. I do know a charm I was using here got nerfed in future patches, and being disappointed. Also can’t remember what my charm setup was. Didn’t expect this video to get much attention lol. I THINK it was quick nail. It was def a melee-based charm
Y’know, when I was fighting radiance, I was singing Traitor’s Requiem to boost me up for some reason (seriously tough, that last part fits with the song’s final part)
this fucking game sucks so hard, it's hard to express. I had to spoil the endboss fight just to stand a chance now. May this fucking peace of trash be forgotten soon.
This helped me so much, thank you!! I copied most of your build with Quick Slash, Unbreakable Strength, and Mark of Pride. For final slot, I played around with a few things but ultimately won with Unbreakable Heart (because I'm not as good as you and needed the safety net). For those struggling -- note that with Unbreakable Strength / Quick Slash combo, you can spam Hollow Knight until he's dead and pretty much ignore his attacks! Just take the damage, you'll be fine. Save your Soul for Radiance, and you'll get auto-healed when you go into the Radiance fight! Also, if you step to the side a bit at the start of Radiance fight, you can jump and get two hits in per jump instead of just one, so you start the fight with 4-6 hits on Radiance before they've even attacked. I had no idea there was a safe space between all the downward arrows (I thought you had to go to the big gap every time). That's super useful! When she does the eight lasers, once you're safe from the third hit you can usually heal. Or heal while sage from the eight needles. In the early parts of the fight, there's enough time between attacks that you can often get a heal in, sometimes two. Just be careful, especially if you're close to the edge where you're likely to get surprised.
