It amazes me that a cult based on a con man can fool so many otherwise intelligent people. They are welcome to exclude me from their self-delusions. I wouldn't want to mix with them anyway.
Hi, I hope you're enjoying yourself! I recently looked at and studied your "Live Utah - Jordan Wheeler Utah Realtor" RU-vid channel. There are 165 subscribers to your channel, and you have 43 videos. The quality of your content is excellent. Here are a few problems with your channel, though! * SEO Score is significantly too low; optimization is required * The following items also need to be optimized: the video checklist; the video tags; the channel tags; the video title; the video description; the meta description; the description hashtag. Your video views, likes, and subscribers are not rising as a result of this kind of problem. Increasing your business can be achieved by using correct video SEO to improve your video views, likes, and subscribers. Would you like to improve your SEO ranking? I'm awaiting your answer. With gratitude and best wishes, Abdullah Expert in SEO and a Professional Digital Marketer
My LDS neighbors, friends and acquaintances about 5 families, I know and have known well, are welcoming, generous, accepting, super family and community orientated, also invite us to their holiday events without pressure, can say the same thing about the bible thumpers as well. Not sure how they’d be towards me and mine if we were in a majority LDS community but in these immoral times I think many different moral people and groups are coming together.
Utah is a beautiful place to live but its hard if you are not Mormon and single. You can meet people but its hard to make close connections. Mormons generally dont share their feelings with you unless they know you well. If you join groups that can help. People will join you for group activities but they rarely invite you to their homes.
I find this funny he says it's a great place to raise your children everybody is so nice has everything and all the wholesome good stuff that you want to bring a kid up in but if your worried about the other things gambling drinking smoking that's near by I feel like laughing
Since you are leaving Mormon you have NAB solutely no idea what it is like living in Utah as an unwoman do don't tell us how it is because you do not really know you just have an opinion that really doesn't matter
It is not a great place to “raise a family”. The state is run as a theocracy and that affects adults and politics but as a kid you will suffer from discrimination, if you are not of the faith. Mormons are not a normal religion. You are either with them or against them, in their minds. Indifference to their crackpot beliefs is not an option.
Utah is where normal white people can be made to feel like a minority just because they don't follow a cult invented by a 19th century conman criminal.
5 reasons not to move to ogden 1: everyone wants to move here from their shitty places, therefore it will inevitably become overcrowded and turn into where you came from. 2: people that grew up here will probably not like you, especially if you're from California 3: homelessness, and crime are rising as the rich move here and make it so people that grew up here can't afford to live there anymore. 4: The weather; Crazy wind storms(say good bye to your tree), earthquakes( judt waiting on that big one), fires(not as often, but has blocked roads in my lifetime), freezing winters(hope your vintage house up on the hill has been newly insulated), spring floods(youll need to replace carpet/flooring in the basement at least once in your lifetime), HOT dry waterless summers(dead grass, but they'll still ticket you for it even though you can only water once a week.) 5: smells like dog food downtown because of the dog food factory.
The Creator of Rockstar Energy bought the house in early 2022 for 39.6 million dollars. The asking price was 42 mil. At the time. 50 million dollars is a little hopeful. In my opinion. But, I too would start high if I were the seller.
I’m watching this as I have many DNA matches on ancestry to many people who come from Utah.I’m in Australia and trying to get an insight to the way of life of my distant family, some of whom I share common ancestors with. Thanks for the video.
I love St George and have visited on several occasions. I interacted with many Hispanic/Mexican people who were very helpful and friendly. I even noticed several Mexica restaurants. Is it hard to assimilate there if you are a minority.?..
I would say no especially since it is so close to Vegas. You probably would feel like less of a minority there but I live up North only visit St George.
Looked at moving there. My wife and I found that people were not friendly at all. The only person to open up and start a conversation with me was a Mexican man. When he realized I spoke Spanish his face really lit up. But then again that’s my culture for you. No thanks. Not even a consideration now. If you can’t open your heart and welcome a stranger to your establishment, ( same breakfast place while we were staying in town) I don’t want to live amongst ya’ll. No one should have to bust their ass to feel accepted.
"Most businesses are closed on Sundays" So I guess that also applies to the Mormon shopping mall? Also, what's with the rebranding from Mormons to members of the LDS? Did Joseph Smith okay that change just as he did all the other changes, such as black's holding the priesthood and the acceptance of homosexual members?
You will never enter the temple. Those were my understandings from back when I had a Mormon GF in high school. Not sure but if you aren’t white and dna doesn’t match St Pete is gonna laugh his ass off and toss your ass back to earth 😂😂😂
Conversely if you’re single being in the church is horrible. I left after 14 months because the LDS wouldn’t give me the time of day because I wasn’t a returned missionary and/or haven’t been in the church long enough.
I live in southwest Georgia in a place that has many different religions. They believe we are going to help and I hear a lot of false information about what we believe. It's amazing there is always something new popping up that I have never heard before I just laugh and offer them a copy of the Book of Mormon and they can read it for themselves and make up their own minds. Many decline because they think the devil is hiding in it. You just got to laugh.
@@WasatchWheeler I'd draw it for you but I can't draw. It's not a smile, not a frown, not an inquisitive look. Dont ask me to describe something you can already picture even if you have a different name for it.
@@evenbet9603 can I ask you something? You say you are Catholic? I have heard other denominations say that Catholics are not real Christians. What do you think of this? I am an atheist but I did join a Baptist Church at one point as well as a Catholic church and they are very opposing of one another. I am an atheist now so I don't care but I'm just curious to hear a Catholic's thoughts on that.
@@WasatchWheeler what's really harsh is that those religions are happily leading millions/billions of followers straight to the pit with their false teachings and doctrines. All while taking their money and becoming filthy rich and doing it in Jesus's name... what I said is mild if anything to what will be said and done at the judgement. The gospel is 1 COR. 15:1-4 (kjv) just believe the gospel and be saved. What's coming is not gonna be nice
My hubs and I grew up there as non Mormons in the 50-60’s in the SLC Valley. He graduated from Highland, me from Kearns. It was a nightmare! Let me tell you we know how it feels to be in the minority and the meaning prejudice! Just a few, no one allowed in your house. Or no ride to school with other neighbors. “Gentile” written in front of your name on school papers. Boy and girls not allowed to date you..mothers calling my parents or me warning to stay away from her son. The list goes on and on! In 1973 after out of state college we married and left Salt Lake. Life has been good, but there is still a very bitter taste in our mouths about the way we were treated.
My grandparents were both from SLC, by grandma's family was non-Mormon; in fact her dad had one of the first jazz bands in SLC. My grandpa's family was hardcore Mormon, however, he was excommunicated for publicly criticizing Church officials that profited from bootlegging(he drove a beer truck at 12 years old). But yeah, blatant discrimination for non-Mormons does exist. My uncle and aunt (other side of the family) moved to Utah in the early 2000s due to his military job. At first, they had off-base housing, so their daughter went to a school with mostly people native to Utah. The teachers made her and the few other non-Mormons play on separate playgrounds, which sounds crazy in this day in age. It's rather odd, I live in California, and all the Mormons I've met, including one my friends as a kid, were super nice and welcoming. However, my poor cousin experienced brutal discrimination in Utah, that is until she attended a school with other military children.
I grew up in California and you really don't get to know your neighbors and everyone keeps to themselves. Utah is honestly like a Norman Rockwell painting.
