So happy that you have found my channel! I'm Heidi and I am crocheter from Finland. In these episodes I talk about my adventures with crochet and sometimes other crafts. I've been crocheting since 2010, but in the spring of 2021 I experienced a knitting mania. New episodes appear every 2-4 weeks, whenever it feels like there is something new to tell. In the episodes, I talk about my wips and the challenges with them (and there are some!) and of course I present the finished objects. Of course, I also talk about plans and dreams. Welcome aboard!

I am just now catching up on all of my podcasts, so way behind here. I think I have mentioned before that I find your garment making inspirational, everything you have made is beautiful. This year I have been focusing on knitting socks, with various other projects thrown in between. But next year I plan to focus on crochet garments. That's so exciting about Laine magazine! I really wanted to get the crochet-only Pom-pom issue they collated but unfortunately they are not delivering outside the US anymore which is so disappointing. Will have to make sure I don't miss this Laine issue when it comes out. The door wreath is beautiful - hope you have a good week!

Loved the fashion show ❤ very inspiring 😊 I also have begun to crochet once again and I can't seem to stop making garments 😂 my next project is a boho skirt for winter 😊
I am in awe of your finished tops. The two tops I have crochet didn't look too professional. I used acrylic yarn and will try again with a natural fabric. Thanks for this video.

Thank you for the episode and the crochet garment show. It was interesting to see how the garmets looked while you were moving. That's too bad that you need to make more squares for the blanket but good that you should have enough time to make them.

very nice sweaters! I started making wearables this year and am hooked! I have the same book and am currently making the Malduguns (fen fire) sweater - wanted to start with something not too hard, I need practice on the slip stitch techniques before I tackle a sweater -- maybe a scarf to start. thank you!
Thank you so much ❤❤ I have knitted also, and there are also very repetitive stitches, like knit stitch. I don't like to purl because my purl stitches are sooo loose😅
I loved this podcast and am so happy to find it!!! I felt so many of the things you said, I don’t really enjoy patterns that are majority HDC or DC even because it’s so repetitive but I hate even MORE and patterns that require SL BLO. It’s horrible!!!!!! I have tulip hooks and I don’t think that’s the issue, it’s just a tedious stitch that I would rather to learn to knit or use a different rib stitch 😭😭😭 The color of the drops yarn is beautiful!!
great episode! That yarn shop looked amazing at the end - fantastic to see you representing crochet amongst all the knitters too! ;) Yes, I also find slip stitches a real pain to do - I will have to try that tip about changing the hook, that's a good suggestion. Esther x
Thank you Esther ❤❤ Yeah, crochet is not so popular here in Finland... I got comment to Ravelry that hooks Tulip Etimo and Clover Amour has pointier tips on their hooks. Maybe I will try to locate those hooks and give them a try!

The jacket is going to be lovely. A great way to do some stash busting. ◡̈ I would probably work both sleeves at the same time so they are identical, but that's really only a personal preference.

I love your finished objects, Heidi, especially the white summer top - I loved the stitch pattern. The stash cardigan is coming on fine, too. I was looking at the pink lacy bunting in the window. I'd quite like to make a similar one. I could possibly look at the video to make it, but it'd be easier if you could let me know the pattern you used.
