@@CourtJ_ml9to Better safe than sorry might as well replace while it’s apart. I did check ring gaps before buying the piston and they were way out of spec.
That's your exhaust packing loaded with carbon and unburnt oil And gas residue buildup inside of the silencer and screen. Cause you might come to find out after doing all of that work on it that it's still making that bogging sound. Due the silencer isn't allowing the proper flow through it.
