Sehr schönes Video. Bei mir haben die Turmfalken auch erfolgreich 3 Junge groß gezogen. Die Jungtiere haben hier die Gegend unsicher gemacht und haben sogar versucht Schwalben zu erbeuten.
Eindrucksvoll. I love your videos Lothar, especially the slow-motion ones. This is the first video where I noticed the ants biting back. Amazing video. You have me trying to video some flies and hornets in slow motion. I can only go to 128 frames per second. I am not sure if that will be enough. It is fun to try though.
I keep forgetting to take my earphones out when watching your videos. ... The 3D sound makes them all around me. What's worse is when I am wearing my bone conduction ones... Then they are INSIDE MY HEAD! ❤ love your videos. ❤ Won't stop watching... Even if the wasps are inside me.
Der Neuntöter braucht stachellige Büsche, an denen spiesst er sein Fressen (Insekten) auf. Deshalb sollte man solche Pflanzen mit langen Stacheln/ Dornen Pflanzen um diesen interessanten Vogel zu fördern. Danke für das Einstellen des Videos!
that dark stain on the ground looks like some kind of sweet water, maybe soda or syrup. Which is why we can see how both the ants and the hornet are attracted to it. The hornet is not there to eat the ants, shes just trying to get rid of the competition. You can see she starts licking the syrup from to time and isnt really trying to eat the ants that she grabs.
Bees=the *workers* of the insect kingdom. Wasps=the *warriors* of the insect kingdom. PS: *Both* proving great use for our ecosystem. Whether we like one, the other, both, or not.
Hornets are the biggest bullies. Just killing for no reason. Lol. Half the time they don’t take them back for food for the larvae, they just do it because it is in their way. Lol.
So funny, he won't give it back to mom to distribute. And the sibling pecks at Mom so she has to go get more food. Her life is a busy one (or it could be the father). Thanks for posting these.
