The blur not fading out was a mistake but I kept it because it almost like a wall between her and the people that don't understand thx for watching and check out my Cobra Kai recap video ❤
No, Sam is natural stronger without experiments. Honestly is basically being Kimiko during her shining light days. I would be compelling if Kimiko save this kid, making he doesn't go too far down this path.
To be fair, the OG "Brandy" version of Cinderella featured Paulo as the Prince, who is *clearly* neither white-as-a-ghost, like his father's actor, nor black, like Whoopi, *and* Audrey's whiter than Chad, with a black grandma.... so race is more than likely reconned more than even Disney would like to admit.
Yeah it's not even new I this universe Carlo's had a black mom and j is not the same race as Jafar I don't race matters at all in this and thinking about it to much Is dumb when it doesn't matter
Oh boo hoo, you seriously expect/need a trigger warning for a show meant for adults? Because if so then maybe you shouldn't watch shows like the boys, or really anything above a TV-Y7 rating tbh. If something upsets you don't watch it lmao. Also are you recording on a phone or something? Because my $15 logitech camera I use for zoom calls has a better microphone then whatever the hell you're using. Basically just grow up or something maybe?
Love your crack edits! And I like Armand but that h0e is a manipulative crazy B and that's why I love him. Just messy af. But my fave will always be Daniel, like he is so sassy, and when he became a vampire I was like celebrating and laughing my a$$ off. Honestly, I love everyone in this show. Lestat, Claudia, Madeline, the messy coven, small D Francis, everybody just mwah mwah mwah! And their actors deserve all the Emmys NOW. ASAP! Can't wait for all the crack edits that would come once Rockstar Lestat comes in Season 3!!!
In a way, i can understand why people think the show is better, but here is my view: all three versions are equally great in their own way. They each have different views and metaphors that make them all worth while. Though, it does say something about her original text when you can have two (three if you count Act Two of Lestat: The Musical by Elton John (i am not making that up)) exceptional adaptations that constantly inspire the generations they were made for. Maybe because i have studied Anne Rice since 2008, but i feel all version of this story need to be experienced at some point. All versions are good and each have their own meaning to me.
To give some context: the original film bonded my mother and I after the death of my father, the novel during the decade of grieving when my mother passed, and now this series as I'm trying to leave the past behind. When Louis in this one says that Claudia was his redemption, so much about how my life was playing out with this guy started making sense. While I'm always going to be sad when people don't give this story (in any form) a chance, I at least know an entire generation is about to enjoy a hyper fixation of mine that literally kept me alive for over half of my life. Though for during the off season as we wait for season three, Mayfair Witches season two, and The Talamasca season one to come out, check out the podcast for The Articulate Coven. Best ever for this fandom. Welcome onboard to this Savage Garden.
Upon second watch Louis said to Daniel:”we have a surprise for you in the dining room” was daniel about to become puppy chow and he said fuck this I ain’t going out that way until Louis learns the truth.
i dont understand my guy. The boys comics heavily based the story arc on two main characters. Homelander, and butcher. If they straight up kill them off right away at the end of this season, what else will they show off in season 5?? Doesn't make sense. The makers of the show are aware that these two characters are practically carrying the show, and is said that season 5 will be the ending finale of the show so. I think its more reasonable and plausibnle they die off at the end of season 5 as a good way to end the show tbh. Idk we'll see.
The mirror said tweedily Diddley dead oh to further explain in case you don't get it she was in that play where she wanted to be a bird and there's a bird called Tweety Bird that's the joke I bet all the vampires stood around and laughed as he wrote that on the mirror
Having read the books, neither Daniel becoming a vampire nor Armand and the trial were surprises. How it happened however...I love that this adaptation makes it their own in a way. I read the books, why would anyone want to watch something that had no thrill of what comes next?
But Assad as Armand is effin perfect. I find it funny how people hate Armand, but still lick b*lls of this horrible version of Lestat, even when he beat the s*** out of Louis in season one, even when YOU SEE he was just as invovled in killing Claudia (in the book he would never), and didnt even save her with his mind, which people were mad at Armand for NOT doing. In the book, he was more sympathetic, a victim, and hold Claudia's dress and cried for her death, even told where is her ashes.
