I always here about in house movements however I haven’t heard why this is so important? Is it just the fact they have the capabilities to make their own movement?
I love my Samsung Galaxy watch. Day, date, and time. Weather from around the world. How many steps I take in the day. Stopwatch for parking lot. Find my smartphone feature. Tons more, I won't be going back to a mechanical watch anytime soon.
I just purchased this model PRG-600-1CR about a month ago and absolutely love it I'm already looking to upgrade but the jump in price for just the atomic time keeping doesn't' seem worth it. I know this is an older video but are you still wearing yours? Any plans to review newer models. Awesome watch. Thanks Rob
The only watch i ever got commented on is my peasant ring sundial. When i‘m out in nature and don’t want to wear a watch this is my option of choice. So when people want to know the time (or i check it by myself) and they see me telling the time (+/- 5 minutes) they want to know how it works. But every othe4 watch, no matter the scarcity or the price - people literally don’t care. And that’s good, because I don’t care 90% of the time either. If you see the 20th rolex a day, a dozen breitlings… it’s uninteresting. Obviously they all are nice watches, but i think about watches a bit like guns. They are interesting to a very small group of interested people, the rest literally doesn’t care at all.
I can't believe these go for CA$9000 here in Canada which is way too expensive considering a Datejust is only CA$450 more. Omega isn't the bargain it used to be over here. Still a beautiful watch. But I wouldn't pay that much for one.
I can’t deny finding your struggles, with plastic or in this case cardboard, a genuinely hilarious thing. Love the channel, and the reviews. Thank you!
I have been watching the tubers on the different watches and I have yet to see anything about Reactor watch brand especially the Posidin dive watches. I have (2) of them one all stainless steel and the other all titanium. Both quartz extremely rugged and durable. Probably the most durable watch ever made. I send them to Reactor service shop every couple of years and they disassemble them, replace all the o-rings and pressure test them to 1000 meters. They were a small company but he had to stop building them because he was loosing money. Each one of mine has Swiss and japanise movements. Just curious
@@RandomRobReviews You said I want this one for my collection but it’s not in your budget at the moment at 8:08 so you may put a few of your watches up so you can pay for the one you wanted. The seiko. Fine it’s not eBay, as they are the only one that practices highest price gets the piece, lol, they aren’t . First come first serve then? What if one of your viewers wanted this? One of your patrons? Would you place yourself before them? It seems like a conflict of interest for you to be able to choose who gets what and set prices even for yourself if and when you do purchase.
Stop taking my money. Kidding aside, great opportunity to pick up good watches for a good price. Rob and the discord members are hard core watch enthusiasts with a great and diverse collection of watch brands.
I actually like the stubborn Tissot, the Seiko at 3:15 and the Borealis with black/red bezel. The Seiko with champagne-ish dial is cool too but seems like it might be small diameter🤷🏼♂️😎👌
