I’m a sucker for mods that aren’t Kaizo level brutal but are still difficult and remixes the base game a lot (stuff like Cosmos Collapse for example). I’ve always wanted something like that for Sunshine. This looks really cool, can’t wait to try it once it’s complete
All of these star missions, except the Purple Coin one, are terrifying because even though it has a cool NES type background, the black holes kinda take things into a totally different and disturbing direction. Black Hole Peril Speed Run is definitely way worse. Also for some reason, and I watched this in another video, I think there was a problem with the camera where if you jump into the black hole of the archway in Toxnomaly's Black Hole Bulges at the little stone-ish planet after you take the first launch star, the camera what I can only describe is 'gives the black hole a jumpscare closeup'.
I remember I saw that second star mission in the Superstar Mario Galaxy version of Bowser's Dark Matter Plant. I remember it was called Tilticide and that mission is exactly what it was, even that huge black hole in the far back watching you menacingly and waiting for you to be eaten.
@@zero-z4551 I don't know if you played Cosmos Collapse, but there was a galaxy you can encounter if you defeat Bowser and you go to World S, which is the final world in the game, there was a galaxy called Singularity Station. That galaxy with both stars was just pure horror and very disturbing because the background where you encounter Bowser previously and the amount of black holes that the SMG mod artist created were just the perfect ingredients for nightmare fuel. I remember I couldn't sleep for hours after seeing that for the first time.
This is probably one of the worst mods I've ever seen. The camera not functioning properly, you don't know where you are going, the levels are awful, and it's just impossible to beat without what you are doing. This mod is just plain garbage.
