Just like Nick mentioned you needed to use a brighter color specifically eing I'm visually impaired and black on black is very hard to see in a videobut you showed some very good wraps just made it hard to see with dark color cord
This is a survival tool, not a camping tool. You'd with to have this if you were stuck somewhere. You are also unaware that it's magnetic and if you put a thin string in the small hole you have a compass
I bought the exact same tool. All the edges, on the sides and internally, were jagged and scratchy. You have to smooth these using a diamond file, else you'll be cutting and scratching yourself all the time when using this thing. The only 'proper' tool on it is the 'cap lifter', very efficient because it has the traditional shape of a cap lifter. Everything else is a waste of expectations.
there it is necessary to have a loop with a smaller diameter, put it separately, wind it up and then push the end through it and when pulling it out there at the end, drive it under the unwinding, and pull out the loop itself less.
Nice, simple and well done. From a visual point of view, better use a paracord which contrasts with the handle and the background, just for pedagogical reasons. Could be green camo or navy teal vs black, does not need to be a fluo pink nor yellow. If you cut and burn the ends of the rope when it is done, you can hardly undo everything to use the rope separately in case of need and put it back on the handle, so maybe finish the work with an appropriate ending knot.
Great job with your video! As another commenter said, the can opener will work much easier moving it backwards. Google P-38, this is the name of a can opener we used in the Army opening C-rations (canned food) prior to MREs. Both the P38 and this can opener work similarly. Again good video! I subbed, Jim
Like others point out, your review is the most useful I've seen on RU-vid. You might also review the common keychain tools. That eleven can be expanded. Here are some other uses: (1) The lanyard hole can be used to bend wire. (2) The wing-nut tool can be used to wrap some string as fishing line around the tool. Keep it in place with tape. (3) The mirrored surface is small but still might work for signaling. You might test the range. (4) I've played around with the compass on several of these tools and I'd hate to depend on any of them in an emergency situation. The pointing is too uncertain. It makes more sense to carry an actual compass. Someone should create a compass with a sealed needle that is thin enough to fit in a wallet.
You can also tie the device with paracord to a suitable stick and create a makeshift axe which is easier to use for most crafting situations than using the knife blade itself You can wrap the tool with a bit of cloth, paracord or even thick leaves at a push will make the tool easier to grip if you don’t have gloves Remember that these tools were originally designed by BCB International (before being copied) for use in survival packages. The military would typically always have thick gloves available. BCB also designed the tool’s wing nut slot to thread the thinner paracord through and wrap around the opposite edge for storing a length of paracord This also makes it more comfortable to hold
Mine wasn’t very magnetized so it didn’t show direction very well. I magnetized it above the notch in the direction circle, and then it worked well sitting on a floating piece of foam.
This tool came in my survival kit with the little card telling what each aspect of the tools are for. Nice job of demonstrating HOW they are to be used and, yes, I can see this as a helpful tool if you had nothing else to do the job and it is compact enough to require little space for carrying and storage. Great video! (I subscribed).
My place I put it on the tray and they like yeah it's fine (It can cut but no stabbing ,that's what they so afraid of aside setting up the Garret stick /gate
You don't know how to use the tools, for example like others have said that can opener is design to punch a hole and drag and pull going backward not going forward, all tools in this card works well, This is the cheapest and most useful multi credit card tool that I ever use and own, I have the expensive multitools but they are not as compact as this one, I never leave home without it
would not recommend having on a lanyard or keychain as the knife edge, saw blade, or even the can opener could knick you. Feel like the odds of tha happening are more likely than a specific use case where this card would help.
I think it's called a wing nut, not a butterfly bolt :) Would that they had deleted the bottle opener and had additional larger wrench sizes. Delete the blade and have a couple allen key and philips head screwdriver tips.
Redo video using a bright color paracord for contrast to better visual . Dark tang with dark rope washes out the clarity on camera necessary to see what your doing. Otherwise helpful
The knife edge can actually be used as an axe. When i tried it, it worked MUCH better, when i added a stone for weight.. i was actually able to chop through a 2 inch branch (much to my surprise)
