I remember being so confused by the Ball ability when I was a kid. It felt like an Easter Egg or a preview of an upcoming project or something, like it wasn't really supposed to be there. As you can see, I thought about Kirby a normal amount.
I actually wondered the same thing as a kid! I got Kirby Canvas Curse back when that game launched. This was before I eventually got Nightmare in Dreamland used at a GameStop/EB Games. As such, I thought the Ball ability was alluding to Canvas Curse. I was confused, and I questioned how you were supposed to dash into enemies and draw rainbow lines. Ah, the good ol’ days…

@@SgvSth yeah maybe, but there would be a flashing animation for kirby and also you can't activate invincibility outside of wheel, tornado, damage, Invs candy, stone, and burning. which he had none of
