Hey Awesome Tutorial! Been trying to follow your tutorial, but when i try to connect the nodes to convert line to mesh, I've been getting "geometry cannot be retrieved from the modifier object" error. I've tried the "recognize as instance node" to fix the problem, but it is not doing the job. If anyone knows what the problem is please let me know! Thanks :)
Usually when I'm learning new 3d software I feel like I need to watch a few videos before I can really accomplish anything, but even just after this one video it seems like I could go create a few sample garments to start learning properly. Quality tutorial, thank you very much.
There are tutorials for 2d and 3d I want you to do 2d on adobe after effects or adobe animate and chowder ad stop motion and puppetry. Good luck making a chowder episode in 2d,!! ❤️
And i will do warn you the animation is a bit complex. I’m talking about the backgrounds of the characters clothes, even when the character’s are moving, the patterns on them are staying sill.
I'm pretty sure japanese anime is mostly 24 fps, it just than most frames are drawn on 2's and sometimes 3's. It's a hard concept to grasp though, I only know this because I do some animation on my own. (you can have one image repeated 24 frames and that will still count as 24 fps, it is unlikely the framerate is different within the same film, but not the quantity of drawings per second.)
I love the feeling of stumbling upon a true gem. This video is incredible - no wasted words or moments 🙏 I don’t plan on learning blender but it was so relaxing to watch your workflow
Hello My name is Olena I bought Marvelous Designer - Beginner Course today. I downloaded the zip file and unzipped it. I didn't find the course and didn't understand how to use what I got. Can you please send me the instructions? Thank you!
Creativity will always thrive within the limitations surrounding it. But most importantly if the focus is on making a piece of art the mediums shortcomings generally fade away. I think things are a lot worse now because so little of it is cared for or thought about, just another scene in a spreadsheet of shotlists just waiting to be kicked out the door asap... 10/10 video friend, excellent presentation and work.
6:30 Whenever I try to make the pockets, upon "cut & sew", the edges of the colored fabric become rigid, but the lines from vertices themselves remain the same as before. As opposed to yours looking clean and following the lines like how you cut it. Any reason for this that anyone knows? Also thanks for the vids they're very helpful! Edit: Found out it was because of particle distance. Setting it from triangles to quads gives more geometry and helps it a bit, but for some reason (on my 1700 mm model) I had to decrease it to somewhere around 3 mm distance to smooth out the pockets. I don't know if this is something that only needs to be adjusted for the final render or what, I'm too new. However I'm troubleshooting with different models and such to see if I can fix it.
I know as a student a lot of 3D programs, and a lot of Tutorials, by far, You Anvil and AntCG deliver the best, efficient, easy to grasp tutorials! Thanks
