Hi, my main purpose of the channel is to provide reviews, especially of products that may not be review already. The reviews will mainly be of things that interest me, my hobbies, interests etc. There are quite a few diving videos as I am very interested in photography and filming in, on and around the ocean...having been brought up in ,on , or around the ocean. Feel free to contact me with questions...unless you are anally retentive!
Nice review, sadly I was considering two 90ltr versions of the transporter, though the lack of compression straps is ridiculous. Agree with the comments, we had Swiss duffel bags for ~20 years, and I wish I had retained them for repair, considering how minor their damage was after dozens of trips, I just expected to find a robust replacement... wrong! Since then a pair of High Sierra 66 and 81cm bags, the former with wheels that failed 48 hours into a 4 month Euro trip... the latter 6 weeks later. Considered the Ogio, the 9800s look like they are built like a tank, though unfortunately weigh as much as one, and is oversized for our travel requirements - particularly trains, and negotiating the many steps up and down euro trains, or the Paris metro! The Thule you mention is unavailable here(AU) currently, though retails around $650, and I need two bags! I considered the Dakines 110ltr split rollers - though user reviews suggest the fabric on those is easily damaged in basic use. The Tatonka barrel roller bags are worth considering for the price, and waterproof, a few patchy reviews though not too bad, and the wheels are decent. Not too many choices in the 90ltr range, with a decent (pair of) wheels, heavy duty zips, and strong fabric.
Hi you need to run a vpn on your phone and spoof it to be in the US then set up ECG. Once it’s set up on the watch you can change all tour settings back to the UK.
@@duncan.scobie you need to make sure that gamin connect is set to US, your garmin account( log in from a computer) is also set to US and the vpn on your phone. You may also have to change setting on your phone to take false location from the vpn. I use an android phone and I needed to go to developer setting to allow spoofing. Once it’s all done it ECG works. I’ve have accomplished this twice on a venu 2 plus and a new venu3. It is the same process as for the Epix. All things being even it was a lot of effort for feature. I’m in NZ which also insist supposed to have ECGs. There are several tutorials on RU-vid on how to do it
@@duncan.scobie I had the same issue with my samsung phone, i have used Fake GPS application and VPN with USA location, and it didn't work, then i've enabled "Plane mode" and it worked.
Brings back great memories....swam right up into that cave with my little daughter on my back & wrote our names in the sand on the little beach inside it.....Dad & Boo woz ere!.......Great times.
Wonderful video, Duncan, and I love your skilful use of the drone and music. I look forward to your stirring video of the Viaduct horseshoe, and your choice of music!
Great video Duncan. This wonderful Line has such potential as a classic English Branch Line. The hard-working volunteers have certainly caught the vision!
Another good video. I used to live down in Daven and I was down there this year in Plymouth where I used to live but I did have a bit of problem with seagulls 2:50 Do you have any problem with seagulls
Hi Duncan , Beautiful again , do you still pay a one pound toll to cross the Tamar Bridge to Cornwall ? Always felt like I was going to where I belonged when crossing from Devon in to Cornwall .
Hi, I just watched your review of the Osprey Rolling Transporter 120. In the video, you mentioned that you were going to find another bag. Which one did you end up buying?
Good stuff! Just got my unit on Monday and haven't had a chance to play with it yet. Noticed your dji pocket to 😉. I think the pocket 3, avata 2 and mini 4 is the ultimate small form factor setup for knocking out great content.
I was a friend of Rob and Dawn, and swapped plants and spent time. I miss Rob quite a lot. He gave me a lot of my inspiration in the creation of our garden at Carn Euny, where some of his gifts still grow. Generous of his time and efforts, a rare and beutiful man.
I just discovered you page and look forward to visiting Cornwall vicariously through you. My grandfather was from Mousehole and I have visited there twice. Probably will never get back again, so will visit via your page.
100% correct about needing external compression straps. Otherwise the shapeless bag's contents will be at the mercy of baggage handlers and their machines.
Hi, I work on the show Saving Lives at Sea on BBC2. We're keen to use some of your drone footage in our upcoming series, would you happy for us to do so? If so it would be great to get your email! Thanks, Lily
