All your Theme Park & Rollercoaster content available right here. We are hoping to provide something different to all the other Theme Park channels out there at the moment.
Its looks so depressing. Now its completely rundown. 40 -50 yrs ago it was very different. The best thing Morecambe has is its sea promenade great for walking and views.
I remember the time we went over there think I spent most the day on that got off q again got on then off q again 🤣🤣 got my Dad on it once he went white as a ghost 😂😂
I am looking for a video tape of fantasy island to be uploaded from around the same time, it was like an informational video of what you can do there, can anyone help please?
This is what greed does...far better buying tickets as needed and free to wander around, they still got money out of you with snacks, drinks, meal or merchandise....most people go to Blackpool not just for the pleasure beach for the lights and general buzz of the golden mile...a lack of potential customers may nock some sense into the owners or risk park closure...
I gained concussion, broken jaw, and teeth on Corkscrew, never again. The last time I went,'Rita' had not long been opened (2005). Now, in my 50's and doubt, I'll be going again, no longer appeals to me.
I remember going with the school as our end of school year trip use to get a cap and a purple wristband I still rank their dodgems as the best i ever went on
I like Rita and Thirteen but the whole of Talbot center/Ug Land/Dark Forest use to be so much more open I also remember how the wet wet wet concert was a question in the flume queue! 😁
We went to Frontier land in about 1981/2 and i went on the big wooded roller coaster and it crashed while i was on it .They were running 2 and we were waiting to go , when the other coasters brakes didnt work and it ploughed into the back of us . Lots of cuts and broken bones . I walked away with a really sore back and neck , with my Mum in tears , yet in those days we never even thought of suing .
4:37 That Dinosaur sadly got destroyed in an arson attack, and from what I have read on Wikipedia, there was another fire, not long after, destroying the Haunted inn.
Can see the slight difference in that first drop from back then to its wider profile now. Always remember it being better back then, and i guess I was too young to care how rough it was haha! Still love this ride today but dont think it has aged well.... if they ever get a few extra £mil then maybe build something to compete with Hyperia, get that crown back!
I have some old footage of Pleasureland, one taken in May 1990. We even videoed riding on the "Jets" ride which was the one with the spaceman in the middle.
Hold the fort Ladles and Jellyspoons. Rumour has it that the park is being eyed for a revamp and reopening. Should do well with Blackpool Pleasure Beach progressively falling flat on its arse since switching to a lacklustre Pay Per Entry rip-off. Would love it if Frontierland and Morecambe in general had a boon, with visitors swamping the place in droves as a preferred pocket-and-family-friendly destination for a day by the sea. I always have a warm glow to see greed get it comeuppance. It's invigourating.
People still travel from all over the world to Alton Towers. Nemesis Reborn opening day had the longest queue in Alton Towers history. Alton Towers remains a world class park with a much greater line up than it had in 1994.
@@somethingsinister8493 The rides are soooooo bland though! Barely any flats and the coasters.... meh.... Lets face it theres 25 coasters in Europe that you would pick before any from Towers.
Since Merlin took over quality certainly took a major dive. Now with the new management model and Bianca at the helm, I think we are at the foot of a new golden era.
There is something so charming about seeing how the park used to be. Even nemesis looked very different back then (not considering reborn). It sounds just like how I remember it though!
