So it costs 750 per person for a private tour, is there a minimum headcount for a private tour? How much time does the driver allow you to spend on each island?
Hello, 750 is per person and we were 4 people (total 3000). 400 per person one should pay at the entry of national parks as well. I believe it was either 5 or 6 hours tour.
@@Erays_Adventures thank you. It sounds like i can take a personal private tour for 750 Baht plus an entry fee to all the national parks. If that is the case, the price is not bad.
@@arwenmegan good question here. I may still think for 1 person you may need to pay maybe not 3000 but 2000 or 2500 + 400 entry fee. So, more than 750 if you are alone. Maybe try to team up with other solo travellers (via facebook groups) for such trip?
The main hong island i believe we stayed maybe 2 hours (excluding lagoon). Koh lao Lading 1 hour, and the other one around 40 minutes. The rest is passed on the commute.
Doi Suthep temple entrance fee is much more than 30 bath for foreigners. You forgot to compare the entrance fee for Thais v Foreigners at Doi Inthanon. Foreigners pay much more! All National Parks charge foreigners much more than they do Thais. Why? Because they can. The manic, dangerous traffic. The pollution. Take off those rose coloured glasses.
Hello, we remember that we paid 30 THB for the entry to the temple. You may be confusing with the doi suthep national park? www.triphobo.com/places/chiang-mai-thailand/wat-phra-that-doi-suthep I agree that in general foreigners pay a lot more than people from Thailand to enter tourist places. The traffic to pedestrians is indeed looked dangerous if one only follows the rules without observing the traffic and anticipates.
